Arthur the King (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 6 hours ago.

5/5. Best movie I’ve seen this year so far. This movie was a roller coaster ride! Bawled my eyes out at one point. So Good. The whole family can watch it and it is based on a true story. This movie deserves an award and I wholly recommend it.

The Thursday Murder Club

TBH, murder mysteries aren’t really my thing. I only watched OMitB because of the casting and with that said, I’ll likely watch this one for the same reason. Greatness transcends genres.

SheWatches 1 points yesterday.

Yes, it really does transcend all genres and I think this is going to be a solid cast. :)

The Thursday Murder Club
grasshopper rex 1 points 29 days ago.

So it’s kind of a rip-off of Only Murders in the Building. Let’s hope the casting and writing can overcome the lack of originality.

SheWatches 1 points yesterday.

The book for this movie was written in 2020 and there are 3 more to the series. There is a 5th book that is supposed to be released in 2025. Also, Celia Imrie is going to play the part of Joyce Meadowcroft; the 4th sleuth. I’m pretty psyched about it because I enjoyed the books so much.

I have this book by Richard Osman, a series of them actually. I would love to see this movie!

The Good Doctor (2017) S7 E10

Not going to lie, I cried. But it’s been a great show and I hope to see all of these actors again in whatever comes next for them.

Baghead (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 2 days ago.

Good little horror flick, fun to watch. I waited on the HD copy.

The Fall Guy (2024)
SheWatches 2 points 2 days ago.

So glad I waited until it came out on HD - that was soooooo good. 5/5 all the way. Tons of action, Tons of comedy, and a touch of romance. I definitely recommend it.

Reptilians (2024)
SheWatches 4 points 2 days ago.

This is a decent documentary about the Reptilian-humanoid species. Is it real? I don’t know, but the information is persuasive and interesting to watch.

Boy Kills World (2024)
SheWatches 4 points 2 days ago.

Excellent! Has that Kill Bill vibe to it with some twists and turns in the movie. Funny and action-packed it has a few cuss words and lots of killing so its rated R. The killings are violent but its comedy at the same time. I will definitely be watching this again soon.

Dune: Part Two (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 3 days ago.

It was good but really long. I enjoyed watching it. You know movies are never like the books but I think this movie held its on and I recommend it for a watch.

Thelma the Unicorn (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 4 days ago.

I love the pink unicorn idea. Any age group would like this movie. The voices were perfect for the characters and the music soundtrack was fantastic. Good moral behind the story too.

Sasquatch Sunset (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 6 days ago.

It is rated R for sexual content, frontal nudity, so I wouldn’t let kids watch this one. This movie reminds me of Clan of the Cave Bear although the plot is different. I’m not impressed with it. I wouldn’t watch it again and I don’t know what to say about watching it all the way through except once you see it, it’s kinda hard not to stop seeing it. However, it’s original and definitely different.

Sting (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 8 days ago.

Freaky-Deaky spider monster movie. Bugs make my skin crawl and throw in an arachnid - eek. Enjoyed every goosebump watching this one. Definitely recommend this comedy horror.

Refuge (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 9 days ago.

Nice horror movie. Was a little scary but not too scary. I can’t say much without giving away the plot but it’s not a B-movie and it is well produced. No over-the-top stuff. Recommended for a watch.

Serial Mom (1994)
SheWatches 3 points 11 days ago.

The perfect movie to top off a Mother’s Day. Very funny!

The Devil's Rejects (2005)
SheWatches 2 points 11 days ago.

I forgot how freaky this movie is.

In a Violent Nature (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 11 days ago.

Upcoming new Shudder film out in about 2 weeks. The trailer gives me the heebie-jeebies! I’ll be popping popcorn and settling in for this one.

Scream VI (2023)
SheWatches 1 points 11 days ago.

One of my pics for Mother’s Day-movie day. It was better the second time around and even though I knew what was coming up, I still enjoyed the ride getting there. Great for a re-watch!

Blackout (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 12 days ago.

Wolfman movie - not to be confused with a werewolf - had an 80s vibe to it. I thought it was b-moviesh, but it was a good story.

For Sale (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 12 days ago.

Funny comedy horror. At first I thought, what the heck? Then once it got past the opening, it was good - good enough for me to say I would watch it again more than once. Great ending too. The actor kinda reminds me of David Duchovny. Anyway, recommended!

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 12 days ago.

I want to watch this so bad but I know it’s just going to spoil it for me if I watch it now lol - might go see it at the theater.

I Saw the TV Glow (2024)
SheWatches 0 points 12 days ago.

freak movie. I didn’t like it. It’s one of those weird symbolism movie things that I don’t get any entertainment out of watching. Some people are into those type of movies but, I sat through the whole thing and at the end, I was like what the heck did I watch.

Lazareth (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 12 days ago.

It was okay for me. Dystopian-type movie as described. Decent plot and and the acting was good. I would recommend it for a watch if you liked Leave the World Behind and other movies like that.

Darkness of Man (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 12 days ago.

It’s like an old gum shoe detective show at the beginning. I don’t like the filming companies. Jean Claude is still a beefy catch at his age (speaking from a mature woman’s perspective). The writer sucks. The premise and actors were good, but they got stuck with a script that didn’t do them justice. JCVD still has great action moves. Some unexpected laughs. This movie is going to do very well outside of the US market.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024)
SheWatches 2 points 12 days ago. (Contains Spoilers)

5/5 for me - It’s been a long time since there was such a good war action movie. I didn’t know it was going to be so good. I’m absolutely going to watch this one again. To find out this is based on real people and I had no idea that Ian Fleming based his character, James Bond, on an actual person.

Arcadian (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 21 days ago.

Finally got a chance to sit down and watch it. Completely lived up to the hype. I was so hoping it was going to be good and it did not disappoint me. The creatures were different and that added to the creative feel of the movie. I like the post-apocalyptic genre of sci-fi but some of them are long and drawn out with background info and all that. This movie totally skips all of that with a very short foundation and then gets right into the present with it - well their present. I know there’s a lot of Cage-whiners which makes me laugh because this movie gives the dogs a bone and shuts them up with a solid performance by Cage and all of the other actors. I recommend it for a watch 4/5.

Late Night with the Devil (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 23 days ago.

It’s a Shudder film, need I say more? Always quirky in a way, it’s worth the watch. I like the way that it was filmed.

Abigail (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 24 days ago.

Was going to try to wait until it was out on HD but the CAM was good enough and I really wanted to watch it. It was as good as advertised and I’ll watch it again when it’s on HD. Not super scary but it had its moments and it was fun.

The Night House (2021)
meluv 1 points 1 month ago.

I must have missed that. I paid attention to ending 3 times

SheWatches 1 points 1 month ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

It’s not a shadow on the water, it’s darker than the shadows on the water. It’s a shadowy presence in the boat.

You'll Never Find Me (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 1 month ago.

Shudder films. Always a good horror flick and good ending. This one is slow and suspenseful and it builds up as it works toward the end and its the kind of movie I like to watch. I didn’t mind the crickets as the credits rolled either.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 1 month ago.

I just put this movie on to have something going in the background, but I got interested in it pretty quick and forgot all about housework. I like the action and I like how they portrayed Kong in this one. The actors and actresses roled 2nd place to the Titans and it was fun to watch. I’m not a stickler for a movie following an original with an exact same story, that would just be boring to me. I like it when they change it up a little.

Road House (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 1 month ago.

54:12 oh heck yea. This was awesome! It’s not like the original, it stands alone on its on merits. Enjoyed every bit of it. Definitely recommend it. Rated R for language and nudity.

Easter Bloody Easter (2024)
SheWatches 3 points 1 month ago.

This B-movie had me laughing. It’s supposed to be a horror, but its more of a comedy than anything and I couldn’t help laughing out loud - more laughs than most comedies I’ve seen lately. Plus, who doesn’t love a good holiday horror.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024)
SheWatches 6 points 2 months ago.

So glad I didn’t read the comments here before watching because I enjoyed this movie - it was really good and recommend it for a watch - good for family night

Hanu Man (2024)
SheWatches 2 points 2 months ago.

I don’t watch India movies often but something about it made me want to try it and I was about to turn it off, but it started to grab my attention. Most of the time, if I’m watching an India movie, I want to see the dancing and it had some good dance scenes. What got my attention though was the guy playing the lead role, he was funny, the lead actress was really good and I ended up watching the whole thing. It has English Subs and I don’t mind reading subs if its a good movie. If you like India movies, this one is really good and I recommend it.

Axegrinder 666 (2023)
SheWatches 1 points 2 months ago.

I didn’t rate this because that would have given it something and after reviewing this really bad film, I have to say I can’t recommend it. If this had been a high school play, it still would have been bad. Sorry.

Killing All My Sisters (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 2 months ago.

Idk if its just low budget or bad production or what, but it just didn’t come across well. The story and plot is okay but not well presented. The thing that got me the most is that sad sappy TV show Hallmark music that plays in the background.

Jonah (2024)
SheWatches 2 points 2 months ago.

It was okay but I was hoping for something a little more out of it. Suspense and thriller part was there but then it fizzled like a dead fish handshake. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to slam the feature, I was just disappointed at the end because I was looking for a shocker and it wasn’t there for me. Otherwise, it was okay.

Romi (2024)
SheWatches 2 points 2 months ago.

This one came out last year but I didn’t see it and just now found it. It’s a really good find for movie night. Grab your blanket and your popcorn, its a fun movie. You think its going one way and then surprise, its taking you down a whole different road. And then, surprise, its something else going on. Fun movie, twists, turns and a good ending. Enjoy!

Cold Meat (2024)
Steppenwolf71 2 points 2 months ago. (Contains Spoilers)

This is definitely a new favorite for me. And that’s saying something. Especially, for a flick with such non-existent budget demands. Masterfully done. The only other flick it reminds me of, is the Dan Akroyd, re-make version… of “The Twilight-Zone” movie. The “Werewolf” part of the story. I think it’s the last story. “Hey… you wanna see something, reeeeally scaaaary?” Lol! I need to watch that now.
I give this a 10/10 ✨rating. The biggest part of the budget, must’ve went to the main actor and actress. I wouldn’t even be surprised, if this started as someone’s thesis film. You like a good “underdog vs. The Nemesis” flick? This IS it.

SheWatches 1 points 2 months ago*.

I remember that quote from the Twilight Zone movie LoL. The movie didn’t knock me over as an epic movie or anything but I enjoyed watching it and I have to agree that for such a good movie they sure did keep it in the budget without sacrificing a good production. It was well done. Just wanted to add that if you liked this one, you might like another that would remind you of one of the Twilight Zone movies - it’s called Romi.

You Shouldn't Have Let Me In (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 2 months ago.

I like a good vampire movie. This one is filmed in Italy which is nice for a change. Not the best vampire movie or with huge effects, but pretty good story and I liked the ending. Hopefully, someone will upload a link here.

Imaginary (2024)
SheWatches 0 points 2 months ago.

I think this was probably better than what I rated it. I will watch it again after it comes out in HD

Night Shift (2024)
SheWatches 2 points 2 months ago.

Nice - it’s been a while since a horror flick has been out. Well, a decent one anyway. I got some jump scares out of it and a surprise twist. That was fun. I can’t wait to watch this one with my husband and then laugh at him when the good parts come up. Enjoy!

The Pig, the Snake and the Pigeon (2024)
SheWatches 3 points 2 months ago.

Made in Taiwan with English Subs. I really enjoyed the main actor, Ethan Juan. For a 2 hour movie, you don’t really notice how long its going because it has a good mix of action & drama. His character is really likeable even though he’s the bad guy. If you don’t mind reading subs, I definitely recommend it for a watch.

Damsel (2024)
SheWatches 9 points 2 months ago.

This was great. Best dragon movie I’ve seen in a while and about time too. Well produced and a movie you can watch over and over.

Ricky Stanicky (2024)
SheWatches 3 points 2 months ago.

I thought it was hilarious. Wouldn’t let my kids watch it but I will definitely be watching it again. I needed a good comedy and there it was. I didn’t give it a 5/5, Ricky Stanicky did it.

Stranger in the Woods (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 2 months ago.

It’s a low budget movie. Poor production. The story needed something more exciting, this was a bit dull and the dialogue needed a major overhaul.

Code 8: Part II (2024)
SheWatches 1 points 2 months ago.

It was as good as the first one. Not epic but I would recommend it for a nice Sci-fi - better than the movies that have been hitting the screen lately for sure. I would watch it again. The little girl actress was great.

Lisa Frankenstein (2024)
SheWatches 3 points 2 months ago.

Like a bad high school comedy drama. it was a no for me.

Land of Bad (2024)
SheWatches 4 points 3 months ago.

It’s a pretty good movie. I wish they would have built up more background in the beginning but with all of the action, I’m sure they had to curb some things so it would all fit in the time allotted. I would recommend it.
