Watch it and judge for yourself,,, lol

Well the problem is that I tend to read the synopsis of each episode. This one and the last one sounded interesting but I was apprehensive. I have pleny to watch(no issue there). I’m behind on my regular viewing but I still have this on my tv schedule.
Has this improved at all? I gave up at episode 3 of this season because it was more of the same…
I love Boaz but he has always been a liability. These episodes end too fast.
This ticks a lot of boxes for me so I will keep watching. Also I like the kiwi accents.
I really like Latifah in this role. She sells it as the caring, concerned helper of the helpless, who brings her very special expertise to the streets to do good things. Her team is as skilled as she is, and their dialogue is well written and is fun to follow. Good show to look forward to each week.
Let’s be honest here, she is a terrible actor. She has no idea how to express any emotoions. All very wooden. BUT, that’s not why I watch. I like the idea of an ‘equalizer’ vigilante. I think all the cast work well together. We always get a new story every week. I don’t much care for the subplot of the detective/da.
I can barely hear the audio
I noticed on some links the audio was low so I choose another one that had better audio. I can’t remember which link I used though.
I have just binged watched series 1 and 2 and I am really hoping there is going to be a series 3! Brilliant, kept me on the edge of my seat, I love the films so was a bit apprehensive about watching the series but too see John Jarrett return as Mick was great. I definitely think he is up there with Michael Myers and Freddie Kruger ect…I think he might be even scarier then both of them because unfortunately there are Micks in the real world. S2 was my favourite but in both series I was rooting for the victims…they were likeable and relatable and I was hoping they were going to make it out but you know they are in a impossible situation
There will eventually be a season 3. It’s very hard to find info about Aussie shows. Just be happy when it does show up.
This is an appellation to the entire entertainment industry: Quit spoofing on Groundhog Day (1993). Source Code (2011) Edge of Tomorrow (2014) were kinda lit but after Boss Level (2021) and in anticipation of Free Guy (2021 and, honestly, Boss Level was a 1990s-style “straight to DVD” ripoff of this same idea) give it a rest for a few years. I know it wasn’t the first (or even the 3rd) but Groundhog Day is prolly the most famous example. This plot device has been so run into the ground that there’s a Wikipedia page dedicated to listing movies where people are stuck in time loops. There’s also lists of TV shows that do the same floating around on Ranker, et al. We’re fed this trope upwards of 5 times a year. It’s like… I dunno, like we’re stuck in a time loop and each time it’s slightly different! If Debris does an episode where they all go to an onsen, I swear to God I’m a fistfight my computer.
Quintessential groundhound day episode. It seems we see it so often that its expected now.
Completely bored. I couldn’t finish the episode. Two leads just don’t have what it takes to be lead characters. After that break, I realized how cringe-y the dialogue really is. I may move on from this one.
I have to commend all the actors. Top notching acting. Everyone is bringing their A game. Can’t wait for the season finale.
From what I’ve read, she won’t be back full time if I read the article right. Sad, but she hasn’t had that many movies in the past couple of years, so she may see tv as her way to keep her acting status.
If you look at her career, she hasn’t done a massive amount of movies ever. After doing some quick reading, she will be back for season 3. Remember we didn’t see a body…
Dammit, dammit! I would of been happy with one more season of Jennifer Connelly just roasting rats. Her presence will be missed of course. I think I may stay for the ride…
We are in 100% agreement here.
It really is a shame. It may have been sappy but it had heart.
I happily had crush on Melissa Benoist all through the first few seasons but now even her incredible cuteness just isn’t enough to keep me watching.
The new costume and stupid hair made her lose the ‘cuteness’. She just started to annoy me.
Gah!
I just can’t do it anymore.
Over the years this poor show has been chewed up, digested, and passed. It is now nothing but a giant, smelly turd.
No longer worth the time.
Goodbye Supergirl.
It was decent for about 3 seasons but it has suffered from some of the same issues as other CW shows. I tried to watch this first episode(I didn’t even finish last season) but you can tell the actors are not into it anymore. Its past its due date. We will probably never see a Supergirl show again(unfortunate because it did have potential in the beginning).
Well, the very righteous Steve Arnott has a problem! When did that happen? Since season 5 was 2 years ago, I’ve forgotten what happened in some of the early season 5 episodes, so maybe something happened that has lead to his…….I really don’t want to go back and watch the first few episodes of season 5 to refresh my memory. Just glad that Carmichael is gone! Couldn’t stand that _ she was so sure that Hastings was_!
Remember Steve was injured and this has lead to the pill abuse.
Good start but the writers went a bit overboard with the acronyms.
“Get the CHIS to confirm the DIR to the UCO in MIT, did you copy?” 😄
The acronyms went overboard last season now its just absurd. I’m pretty sure its a running gag since keen viewers notice everything.
Its about what you would expect. Lot of cameos. Lovely costumes all around.
This has to be best episode this season. Watching Jennifer Connelly roasting a rat is brilliant!
Just discovered this, seems like there are several seasons of this, and a lot of people seem to like it. Been a couple people said that this and Yellowstone are their favorite shows, and i love me some Yellowstone, and decided to give this a try. watched the pilot last night, and it was pretty good, so going in for some more.
Another good one is Queen of the South, that might be a bit like this, though a think most like a lot different at the same time, but really good, and has several seasons out and is still running of someone is looking for a good binge watch. Think i might wind up liking this one as well.
Its a pretty decent show. Definitely not as good as Yellowstone. I would argue that Queen of the south is superior to both.
I just don’t understand why they can’t just hire another showrunner. I was really looking forward to a second season.
This will make you cringe and laugh at the same time. I must have a problem…
Getting better with each episode. I can’t wait till next weeks episode.
I had been waiting for the new season. I have never been let down by this show. Excited for more episodes!
On one hand, I’m happy to have some nu who but on the other hand, I’m just thinking this episode could of been way better. Jack and the doctor didn’t have the best chemistry but it was still fun. I’m tired of daleks. I want original new monsters and better stories. I hope we see an improvement in this new series. I’m over Chris Chibnall as the showrunner. I liked Ryan and Graham and I thought they had a nice send off and not too melodramatic. I don’t know why they’re pushing for Yaz and the doctor to be together. I just don’t see it. Most of us just want new adventures with good plots.
I remember watching as kid so I’m definitely looking forward to this. We’ll see how it turns out.
good concept but bad script. love hate for me.
Its good mindless fun. Nothing you haven’t seen before. It also has a great cast.
I absolutely loved this new show. I don’t know if there will be another season but I’d definitely watch it.
really does need an adult rating tho..
I do agree with you. There is one episode that makes your jaw drop.
Started watching after a friends recommendation, and have to conclude that; THIS SHOW IS AMAZING!
Within the first season (I’m a binge watcher); I’ve laughed till it hurt, cried, experienced vicarious bliss, not a single episode has failed to create feels, and further consideration after the fact.
Two thumbs up!!
Just being honest here, they’re not all winners. But the good always outweighs the bad. The soundtrack is always good though. Enjoy it.
This is a definite throwback to late 90s/early 00s comedy tv shows. It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I found it to be quite enjoyable. Guys you will be drooling over Odette Annable( I only know her from Supergirl). Worth checking out.
This is definitely a binge worthy show. I just have to enjoy it for what it is and what it’ll never be. I love the family dynamic and that’s something that everyone can relate to.
I know most of what we see is probably not real but I love these guys. Seriously one entertaining show. I’m always laughing and it seems everyone experiences the same universal problems that we face in life.
What a terrific series! All the major aspects of production of this series are way above average. From the writing and directing down to the set design and wardrobe, heck even location, it all comes together in this intriguing time travel tale. The casting is perfect and the performances are all top notch, every major character played to professionally convincing perfection. But the icing on the cake with this series is the ending, that comes out of nowhere and completely satisfies. Kudos to the writers for that. And so glad they left an opening for expansion should the show ever return.
One of my favorite series. Such a clever premise. Proves Canada can make good tv! It’s a shame that we’ll never have any more new seasons.
Okay. The ending was hilarious for this first episode. Look forward to more!
imo this is just silly guy pays $1000 bucks for sunglasses to alter his appearance? but doesnt pay 20 bucks to disguise colour of his all grey hair or grey beard -losing interest fast -or did i miss something ?
Would you be motivated to sell your prescription glasses for 20 bucks? I think not. $1000 bucks is a fine motivator
Was the original even that good? I remember when it came out and even as young person, it looked like a ‘B’ movie. It starts off like your typical film and pays homage to the original in a few subtle ways. Halfway through, it falls apart and you’re wondering whats happened. Nothing of great concern happens really. The editing was uneven and the ending was just lackluster. I think it really comes down to the direction, if there was any to begin with. Not recommended.
If you havent seen this yet, check it out. Can’t wait for season 5. One of my favorite shows!
this is like 8 mins long
I enjoyed it for what it was. Not the best thing you’re going to watch but it’s worth checking out for sure. I liked that I didn’t know how it would end. I guess I’m just a sucker for winter/survival stories.
Having lived in Colorado and experienced many blizzards. This is no joke. Did I go out in bad weather? Yep, but never texted while driving(this was before smart phones were everywhere).
Not a big fan of the Quibi format but this was entertaining from start to finish.
😮 Can this get any crazier?! When the levels of crazy have their own sub-levels… This show holds its own against Weeds, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul.
I haven’t seen the last 5 episodes but I can easily disaree with your statement. Weeds was watchable but really terrible show especically in the end. Breaking Bad is the standard(very few will reach this status). Better Call Saul stands on its own and in a lot of ways has surpassed Breaking Bad.
