This movie is now expected out on July 4, 2023, if there’s no more set-backs. Some people, really don’t want this movie to be released to the public.

DanoJones47 1 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Been waiting 3 yrs. Angel studios bought it recently. 7/4 finally. Hollywood wouldn’t touch it. True story on this topic, may implicate a few folks.

OMG I thought this series had escaped the pathetic virtue signaling and political posturing

DanoJones47 1 points 2 years ago.

I’ve been shortening my list of shows, on a regular base. For the exact same reason. Pretty soon I’ll have 2 shows on the list, and UFC—-

FBI: Most Wanted (2020) S3 E4

I can picture Tali walking into the kitchen while her dad’s boinking Sarah on the counter top.

Edit: I just realized that Jess was Victor Von Doom. That’s amazing!

He was also Cole on Charmed.

my biggest fault with this atm was multiple mentions of buffalo bill from silence of teh lambs but 0 mention of hannibal lecter and how he helped catch buffalo bill very confusing -he was not mentioned once nor shown in any flashback smh on this one -dont think this is a spoiler

DanoJones47 1 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Actually— his participation was referenced (3:40 mark), just not his name. When Clarice was talking to her therapist. He mentions that here last therapist was an inmate at the baltimore hospital for criminally insane, and ate people. She said he wasn’t ,that it was quid pro quo, and he wanted pieces of her life , in order for him to help her catch Bill.

I’m surprised this film wasn’t “hidden”. While waiting, impatiently, for Sound of Freedom to finally be released, it was suggested I check this documentary out. Intriguing for sure. It definitely shines a light on the cockroaches. 5/5

NCIS: New Orleans (2014)
DanoJones47 1 points 3 years ago.

Air a show, take 2 weeks off, air another episode, take a week off. Ridiculous— I do not even want to hear it, it may not be great, but it isn’t another flipping reality show, nor has PC and liberal virtue signaling sucked the life out of it. So that’s a plus.

The Platform (2020)
DanoJones47 1 points 3 years ago.

Not bad at all— it just seems like they tried a bit too hard,to dumb it down a bit, so the lower double digit IQs, could be enthralled by it. If you are looking for something to work your brain, with some substance… you may want to look somewhere else.

Fallout (2024)

I’m currently watching them on Prime.

The Equalizer (2021)
Mannic 2 points 2 years ago.

People are just negative because they’re mad a Denzel movie which was kinda average for a Denzel movie replaced the lead with a women. Queen Latifah is a badass in the role even if some of the fighting etc is a bit unbelievable it’s a TV show get over it. The show was quite fun and even almost beat out NCIS in the seasons ratings which hasn’t been done by any show in a very very long time.

DanoJones47 1 points 2 years ago.

Actually— this is an adaptation of an older show, starring Edward Woodard. The Denzel versions, were also based on the Woodward series. Many prefer the original, and don’t like either reboot attempt. I think they could have cast the part better— but it is ok. Just not the original.

Another one of these…… What are they going to do this time drive cars in space. It’s just getting ridiculous at this point.

DanoJones47 1 points 2 years ago.

Yes, of course there is a space scene, lmao

The Lincoln Lawyer (2022)
Piglet 1 points 1 year ago.

Bosch is a police drama and this is about a lawyer, and both are totally different from each other. As I told Alien, if you want to compare it with Billy Bob Thornton’s Goliath, which is a lawyer drama….not picking on anyone but I do feel there is a difference between a police drama and law firm/lawyer drama. I’ve watched 2 episodes and I like what I saw and hope there will be a 2nd season.

DanoJones47 1 points 1 year ago.

Not totally different— they are both in the Michael Connelly universe. Half-brothers, as a matter of fact. In the books, they do interact on occasion. Bosch and Bosch: Legacy are great adaptations. So I hope Lincoln Lawyer series is just as good of an adaptation. I apologize, I didn’t realize I needed to point out the purpose of the comparison….

Nefarious (2023)
YgraineDance 1 points 11 months ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I read someone’s review elsewhere saying this had a bit of the same vibe as “Law Abiding Citizen” - which also then reminded me of another demonic one, “The Devil’s Advocate.” Smooth, seductive evil that susses out weaknesses and inexorably worms its way in.

“Nefarious” somehow (well, due to that riveting acting!) manages to quickly ensnare you even though almost all of the movie is dialogue between just two characters. Sure, some scenes can drag a bit, but even THAT works, as we have to sit there and digest all the evil being thrown at the hapless doctor, and at us. One of the most difficult things in the world to deal with is having to re-assess all that you think you knew. That’s both humbling and more than a little unsettling.

DanoJones47 1 points 11 months ago.

I don’t see any Law Abiding Citizen similarities— but maybe “Fallen”.

Unfettered free speech— Heaven forbid. I honestly feel bad for the libs that have been gaslit by MSM, the past 5+ yrs. Pushing nothing but hate for anyone “non-liberal”.

Peacemaker (2022)
Themoo 2 points 1 year ago.

He got that wrong btw. It’s not in any way shape or form connected to 2016 Suicide Squad. That is a TERRIBLE film, that nearly ended careers. It’s based on James Gunn’s correction to that film, 2021’s “THE Suicide Squad”.

Viola Davis played Amanda Waller in 2016 and 2021 and Peacemaker. Which ties all 3 together.

yes operation underground railroad, interesting to see the main stream media try to fob this off as some sort of qanon conspiracy. will probably get around to watching it at some point.

DanoJones47 -2 points 10 months ago. (Contains Spoilers)

As always, they attempt to discredit anything that goes against their actions and beliefs. Disney owned the rights for this movie in 2018, and shelved it. Angel Studios finally came along, and bought the distribution rights. It isn’t a faith-based, overtly religious type movie. Has already started turning a profit though. But, like roaches in the light— certain ones scatter.

Well, Bosch is good but it’s police drama and this series is about a lawyer. Now you might compare it with Billy Bob Thornton’s Goliath.

DanoJones47 0 points 1 year ago.

Since they both are from Michael Connelly’s universe, and interact in the books on occasion — we were comparing the quality of the adaptation. Sorry for not making that clearer. But @Alien understood my point!!

The Lincoln Lawyer (2022)

Good stuff!! With any luck, they will renew for a 2nd season. If it is only 6 episodes again, they should make the closer to 90 mins. Even brought in the netflix version of Kingpin!! Nice touch. Yelena was definitely better in this show, as opposed to that garbage movie. 5/5
