Man this keeps getting better. Hopefully season 2 will build on the momentum.

José Andrés and Family in Spain (2022)
greenguy86 1 points 5 months ago.

This has been the best food/travel show that I’ve seen. And it’s only been one country. Jose Andres is a globa treasure. His passion/love for food/people is unique. Love it. Would recommend if you like food/Spain.

Is anybody else watching this? It’s a lot of fun. I’m enjoying it. It’s spooky with a lot of personal drama too.

greenguy86 2 points 5 months ago.

Yep. Love it. Also love Tim Rozon. Discovered him on Wynonna Earp. I’ll watch anything he does. Plus I just enjoy Canadian actors/actresses more than their American counterpart.

The Irrational (2023)

You know what, this isn’t too bad. Jesse L. Martin does well as the lead. While the focus is on him, it never feels like it’s only about him. So far, pretty interesting.

One of my favs as a kid. There is an end of credits scene. Watch it till the end.

Little Giants (1994)
greenguy86 1 points 6 months ago.

They should of really made a sequel. I love Rick Moranis. Ed O’Neil is good in this too.

I like that ‘Clark’ will have recurring role in the show.

Quantum Leap (2022) S2 E2

I’m going to say it, I can’t stand when they break up a couple that they built up the whole season. A love like no other and now Annoying Addison has a new boy toy. God please fire all the writers now…

This Town (2024)
AmieWarren 4 points 6 months ago.

LOVE Michelle Dockery, but haven’t seen her in much. Seems Joanne Froggat is tearing it up, though! I see her in everything! Always did think she was one of the best actresses on Downton.

greenguy86 1 points 6 months ago.

I also adore Michelle Dockery. She is a top actress so I think she has earned the right to be picky. She killed it in good behavior. I still think about that show.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023)

It just looks terrible. I mean, really.

What a great season opener. Look forward to new cast members.

The Night Agent (2023)
Piglet 6 points 6 months ago.

Good news for this drama! The Night Agent season two has been confirmed by Netflix after the first season became one of its most-watched shows ever.

greenguy86 1 points 6 months ago.

I think that was obvious from the start. Definitely a good one.

Gray (2023)
Joy717 1 points 6 months ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Enjoyed the series in the beginning. Good cast. I love Patricia Clarkson. Now down to the final episode and i find some of the characters contrived. Example: Sarah Beckham comes home, Chase just happens to be waiting outside for her, she finds her newly married husband dead on the floor? Some of the characters are over the top, with obvious hidden agendas. Now, I find myself fast fowarding thru some of the scenes. sigh

greenguy86 2 points 6 months ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Sarah is definitely annoying. You don’t know where she stands at all. The ending is so contrived.

John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023)
greenguy86 1 points 6 months ago.

It was entertaining but I don’t where they would go next with story. I felt that is was very repetitive.

The Continental: From the World of John Wick (2023)

It delivers action. Didn’t care for Mel Gibson. You can watch it or skip it.

Couple days… We need more good shows like this from Syfy.

The ending in episode 3 was shocking and I didn’t expect that! The plot thickens!

Thanks for commenting. Would have not known about it. Hooked.

Reservation Dogs (2021) S3 E10
greenguy86 3 points 7 months ago.

Every once in a while youget a gem like this one. Early on, I didn’t know the direction it would take but I can say it had a satifying ending and it was a lovely story to be told.

The Irrational (2023)
greenguy86 1 points 7 months ago.

Proabably average. Let Jesse L. Martin makes some money. Seems like a nice guy. I’ll still check it out.

Dumb Money (2023)

I’m pretty sure these side characters were not real. I just don’t understand why the nurse didn’t sell.

In the Flesh (2013)
Brutus 3 points 7 months ago.

I thought that this was a really good show. Sure, there was silly plot points, but overall it was great. Really disappointing that it was cancelled after 2 seasons. I would’ve loved for just one more season so that some of the story could have been finished up. I am not really a fan of any zombie shows or movies but this show was different than other stuff in the genre.

greenguy86 3 points 7 months ago.

It was a good one but probably production costs were to high.

The Expendables 4 (2023)

Old but not obsolete.

The Expendables 4 (2023)
Alien 4 points 7 months ago*.

Maybe done with this franchise but Stallone and Arnie and Dolph are still working.
Can’t wait for season 2 of “Tulsa King” and “FUBAR.”
And Dolph has a new movie coming out in September.

greenguy86 2 points 7 months ago.

Yep done with this series. This is what I meant. I loved Stallone in Tulsa King. I hope we’ll get a few more seasons. The guy is up there age though. FUBAR was another unexpected surprised. Love the Father/Daughter dynamic.

Reservation Dogs (2021) S3 E9
greenguy86 4 points 7 months ago.

Wow. What an unexpected surprise. One of my favorite actors.

The Expendables 4 (2023)
greyfur 2 points 7 months ago.

Was actually a pretty good installment. Too bad that it will most like be the last one, Really liked these.

greenguy86 2 points 7 months ago.

Nope. Statham is the new lead. Of course they will bring in new characters. All the OGs are done though.

The Equalizer 3 (2023)

Saw this in cinema. Denzel alwasy delivers. Good closer.

Dead Like Me (2003)
kronickurves 4 points 7 months ago.

Love this series. Well written, good dose of black humor. Doris has to be my fvourite…..plus Georgia Lass’ (Ellen Muth) give no f#@!s demeour is everything.

greenguy86 3 points 7 months ago.

For a show of this era, it was pretty enjoyable. Definitely ahead of its time. You could run this show again and it would fit right in with today’s TV landscape.

Dead Like Me (2003)
SYLCollective -2 points 5 years ago.

I can see why this show got cancelled. Season one was like 10/10 whereas Season 2 pretty average.

greenguy86 0 points 7 months ago.

Pretty standard for TV at the time. Sophmore slump.

Harlan Coben's Shelter (2023)
grasshopper rex 2 points 7 months ago.

I know people are watching this and seem to like it, 4 stars with 10 votes. Anyone care to weigh in on it’s merits or lack of? Thanks.

greenguy86 4 points 7 months ago.

I’m watching it and I like it. Worth checking out. I don’t always vote.

Reservation Dogs (2021) S3 E8

I’m glad that it built up to something nice.

EuroTrip (2004)
greenguy86 2 points 7 months ago.

This would never get made today. Fair warning, lots of things are not politically correct anymore in the movie. If you can get over that, it’s still pretty funny.

EuroTrip (2004)
Fugitive 2 points 7 months ago.

i had to rewatch this film after all that time… its was a hillarious one… we dont have them like this no more

greenguy86 2 points 7 months ago.

This era of comedy is over. But at least some of us lived through it! Still a good one.

Harlan Coben's Shelter (2023) S1 E6

Really good episode. It was slowing down a bit and now it’s full throttle.

It ended the only way it could of ended.

The Menu (2022)

Lot of filler and not enough substance. Good for a one time watch.

Wolf (2023)
greenguy86 1 points 7 months ago. (Contains Spoilers)

It gets a bit convoluted but it makes it to the finish line. I suppose another series is warranted since not everything was resolved.

Wolf (2023)
DownrightDebonaire 2 points 8 months ago.

I enjoyed it but found the three big reveals in the final episode to be very predictable from the moment they were both introduced. I am disappointed that the main premise of the show was not solved and dangled out there for another season that may or may not happen.

greenguy86 1 points 7 months ago.

It was a subplot, that was pretty obvious from the beginning.

Top Boy (2019)
Piglet 1 points 7 months ago.

Season 3 starts on 9-7-23. And it’s a bit confusing too, the series started in 2011 and ended in 2013, then in 2019 it was picked up again. Three years went by after the 2019 season and then we have the 2022 season and now the final season in 2023. In all, I shall be watching all seasons starting with 2011. Since the Hollywood strike is still continuing, I’ve got plenty of time to watch Top Boy for a few weeks.

greenguy86 1 points 7 months ago.

Technically 5th season. The first 2 seasons were on Channel 4. It was in a way a soft reboot but also continuation of the story.

Game Night (2018)
greenguy86 3 points 7 months ago.

How can you not love Rachel McAdams. Great chemistry with Jason Bateman. Would love to see Rachel doing more comedy.

ONE PIECE (2023)
greenguy86 2 points 7 months ago.

This is probably the best live action anime. It takes a tremendous amount of work to get all the details right. Unlike recent adaptations, this one is the best so far. A little slow to start but you have to remember the story is super compressed when you compare it to the original anime. I really hope it goes on for a while.

The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005)

Everyone is so young in this. Time has been kind to most of the cast.

Dark Winds (2022)

Michelle is suing CBC, not CBS. And her vindication is still up for debate as the Algonquin nation does not recognize her.

greenguy86 1 points 7 months ago.

She can sue all she wants, the show is never coming back.

Dark Winds (2022)
grasshopper rex 0 points 7 months ago.

Regardless of her legal status, I still think she got a raw deal. She grew up being told that she had indigenous heritage. She was raised in an area that a robust indigenous presence. Through no fault of her own she identified as such. I loved Trickster and would have enjoyed seeing more of it. Inconvenient Indian was getting a favorable critical response before it’s distribution was shelved. It just seems a shame to throw out the baby with the bath water.

greenguy86 1 points 7 months ago.

One bad apple spoils the rest… That’s show business.

Special Ops: Lioness (2023)
greenguy86 1 points 7 months ago.

Again, I find it hard that ‘A’ list actors would partake in this run of the mill show. I have no absolutely no problem with how the women are portrayed. All believable. What isn’t believable is the narrative. It all becomes cyclical and I fail to see the point as our main lead does. In typice Sherdian fashion, no actual resolution. What will the next season be like, who’s to say.

Dark Winds (2022) S2 E6
Alien 1 points 7 months ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

I think he stumbled on a rattlesnake nest and was bitten multiple times and died a painful death. Which would be ironic considering what a poisonous snake he wass.
Or was. But, I am disappointed that Vines got the honor of killing the blonde man.
That honor should have gone to Leaphorn. What I thought was very odd is they didn’t set up any kind of dragnet when he escaped the Sheriff’s custody. He was never spoken of again. Or did I miss something?
I do know I will miss this excellent series and I hope it comes back.

greenguy86 2 points 7 months ago. (Contains Spoilers)

At that point, they knew he was gone. He was no longer in their reach. Vines was always the main objective and knowing the justice system had failed, Indian justice would have to do.

School Spirits (2023) S1 E8

Took me forever to watch this last episode. Interesting narrative. This episode will keep me interested for next season.

Reservation Dogs (2021) S3 E6

I felt like this episode could of been longer. We must enjoy nature any chance we get. Much happier episode.
