Nice episode, little less action, a little more conversation, but it all is nicely compensated with a comical TV-budget version of Jeff Goldblum as the accountant, and Seth Green being Seth Green.

That was a good episode. I knew Bradford was gonna end up with the dog.
I agree, very good ep, and yeah, once she showed him the pic of the dog, i knew it was gonna go to Bradford, also knew Nolan was gonna give that yoga a go..at. It was also predictable that they’d catch the guy, they always do, the 50 Cal at the end was a bit too convenient, but despite all that, this was very good and enjoyable.
I haven’t watched this, you know, thing, yet.
It’s not the best episode, but it does have some good moments.
It does set things up nicely for the finale, when the, you know who, goes to the thing and then the thing is very, you know what I mean, but there’s also the other thing, with ANOTHER thing, i mean, geez, it’s utterly and completely, i don’t know.
Peculiar Picard moment, was talking about Luna Moths earlier, now i saw a prepared one on a glass slide during the, thing, where the you know.
I don’t like anything Judd says, actually but I thought Ryan’s answer was funny.
If you take a look at the “latest comments” it looks like were chatting in the comments. lol.
we take perfect Corona precautions, we set an example by isolating the conversation.
But you don’t like Judd? i love his desperate pleas for Iris haha.
I think Gad is doing a fine job being as obnoxious as he is. I also liked him in the Comedians with Billy Crystal.
Which one is Suzy?
Suzy Nakamura, she’s IRIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSS!!!!
Ohhh wait, i’m reading up on the season 2 article, and Suzy confirmed to be coming back, so, all is good :)
Btw, how did you like the “You are clever, i remember saying that to Iris, the first time i saw your headshot”. “Well exactly, i’m not clever, but i look as if i should be MAAAAAATTTTTTT!!!!!”.
haha, rewatching that bit makes me laugh
IRIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOO!!
She left us :(
30 years later with all that advanced technology and they still can’t detect a cloaked ship.
What kinda ship was it? To me it looked like a Klingon ship, but why would they show up this late. It’s probably the Romulan brother, or the sexy sis, or both.
I didn’t think she was that bad. I’ve seen much worse on the show. Maybe because I kind of tuned her out, idk.
I was expecting her to monopolize time and interrupt the other guests. But, you’re right, she was defending and making too many excuses for Biden.
Kind of like all the Trump ass-kissers.
Sometimes Bill just picks lousy guests.
The food guy was spot on, though. I made pizza for dinner, btw
Ah yeah, she didn’t start off that bad, but yeah, the excuses just kinda got to me, i can’t understand how you turn “let’s take it outside” into a positive thing, i mean, what if the guy took him up on it and just punched him out flat(or worse), he was literally asking for it, he’s no strapping young whippersnapper anymore.
Sure, being bold is cool, and the other guy was a pillock, but still, it’s just getting weird.
Bill has had worse guests for sure, she was no way near those, maybe i just hadn’t had my Snickers bar yet..
The food guy was good yeah, the same thing came up on Cosmos ep2 as well when Neil was talking about the ancient settlers that built their houses against each other, and them all eating the same food, rich or poor, and those times have certainly changed.
#pizza. actually, pizza was made out of poor necessities, leftovers on a disc of dough haha
Kinda funny that the other 2 panel guys weren’t anything special, especially after the Tears For Fears singer(not real) said “having a capable person behind the wheel”, and gay Hannibal Lecter was a bit of a weirdo.
I expect the show to be back in 2 weeks though.
I DL’d it to watch it tonight. Maybe I’ll punch my monitor.
I will let you know.
Haha, she actually toned it down quite soon after the part where i paused it (about halfway in), but i thought her desperate grasping at anything negative about Biden and trying to turn that into a strength of his, kind of grating. But i guess you can’t read this now because of a broken monitor.. good luck
Gee, that Buttigieg representative woman fighting for Biden is intolerable, just had to pause and walk away for a moment.
That was a welcome return, fun to see him in Amsterdam and Dutch inventors/scientists being highlighted.
I need to be honest about this show. I enjoy it. I like Nathan Fillion. What I struggle with is how often he and his rookie police officer buddies get into life-threatening situations, where they are shot at and discharge their weapons, and yet bounce back the next day. As someone who has had to disarm aggressive people and had loaded weapons pointed at me, I find this difficult to really wrap my brain around.
But still, Nathan… Okay.
I get that, but they did make a thing out of that in the first season when he was trying to find his way. And he even said it this episode as well when his son asked if he gets used to the danger and fear. I guess they skip over it quicker now because he graduated and the formula of the show. What kinda annoyed me this episode was the ride along, but yeah, not every episode is top notch.
Wow, what an old character to bring back from one of my fave TNG episodes too! Awesome! I sometimes wondered what ever happened to him after he left the Enterprise..really enjoyed this episode! Want to see more of Picards Romulan bodyguard do some fighting! Can’t wait to see next weeks, looks action packed!
What a movie!! :O Mad at myself for only just watching this. Elements of all the best space/sci-fi films all rolled into one with a dash of sam rockwells out of this world acting ability. Watch this right now if u havent!!
Welcome to the club :) this has been my favorite movie of the 21st century so far still, and one of my all time favorite Sci-fi’s. I had seen Rockwell in other movies before, but didn’t really SEE him as much as in Moon, there’s no escaping him here, and he delivers and makes the movie, glad that he got his Oscar last year for Three Billboards, 10 years after he should’ve gotten one for Moon.
That Pontiac Firebird had me crying with laughter “was there a pothole in the road?” haha
Actually, that was Jeremy Davies as the accountant/Identity Theft investigator.
I first saw him in Saving Private Ryan, and he played Charles Manson in a Helter Skelter reboot. Been around a long time. Good actor.
I can’t stand Seth Green and that’s all I have to say about that.
Yeah, not much action but that’s ok. I wonder how long it will take Nolan to get compensation and pay his kids tuition?
Yeah i’m not a fan of Seth Green either, but it helped that his character was meant to be hated, which kinda made it fun.
Hm, apparently i’ve seen Jeremy Davies in Twister, Private Ryan and Solaris, but i didn’t really see him until this episode.
Didn’t Nolan strike a deal with Seth at the end?
I remember him mentioning a stash of collector’s item comics that Nolan could have to sell off and pay his son’s tuition.
Because Seth was like, “i stole your money, you arrest me, i almost die and you save my life”. Then Nolan said something like “it’s my job”.
Then Seth offered the comics and Nolan said “it feels weird to thank a guy that has stolen my money”, and Seth was like “yeahh, it’s been one of those days”.
So i assumed that that issue had been resolved.
