Hello there fearless sharer of helpful info. For those that have tried some add-on’s.!/‘s are still getting pop-up’s, until you find the ones that work best for you, if you press play and “X” out of the pop-up about 3-5 times, it will play. Timing is key, so if you wait to long.c you may have to click another link to play it. Best to click with the above scenarios as possible. As for not receiving even one pop-up, sounds like w dream. Would you please advise as it the names of them for a smart phone, Iif that’s where you’re using then on. Thanks.

Ditzygypsy 1 points 3 years ago.

I only use iOS devices. I have never had a pop up but I do have a prime wire account.

It’s ok, but not everyone would know you were kidding, and they might be helped by some of the things he recommends or suggests, especially regarding children and bringing strangers into the home (I was a single mom and never brought one single man home nor stayed at a man’s house overnight). So I think it’s good to know that he is qualified, even though he isn’t always right (no one is) and like everyone else, he too has his own inherent biases and human nature flaws. 😊

Yes, he is still a Dr. Not an MD, but a Ph.D. He does not have a licence to practice psychology In the state of California and he retired his licence in Texas in years ago, but he is not practicing psychology on TV. But, like dozens of the professors I worked with, he still has a Ph.D. He just isn’t teaching in a classroom; he’s hosting a TV show now. Ph.D means he can use Dr. It does not mean he practices medicine, dentistry, or therapeutic psychology.

How can an episode be rated before it even airs? That’s pretty pathetic.

I didn’t know James Burton had released a solo album in the early 70s, but I kept waiting to hear Elvis start in everytime they played Polk Salad Annie. This was a good movie. Josh Lucas usually plays a nice person, but he sure made me dislike his character here. Thank you, uploaders.

Strange But True (2019)

Pretty good movie to watch once, but the title does not fit the story. And it’s not a very original or creative title at that.

I love Ray Stevenson! And I kind of had him in the back of mind as a casting option throughout my binge-watch of this series.

I think my eyes are a bit too tired to watch an English movie dubbed in French with English subtitles, lol. I don’t mind subbed movies, but only when my eyes are alert and the actors are speaking their original language in their own voices.

Becoming Cary Grant (2017)
Ditzygypsy 1 points 4 years ago.

Oh my. He was truly sublime. So handsome and self-deprecating. My grandparents ran into him at the airport in 1971 and snapped a picture with him. I was surprised they recognized him since they were Russian and Ukrainian immigrants who emigrated to Canada in the mid 40s, and they didn’t really follow Hollywood at all. Plus, we didn’t even recognize him when they showed us the photo at first, because we didn’t realize he had silver hair and those thick, black-framed glasses, but they still spotted him. But once you looked at it, you could still clearly see how beautiful he was. This was very interesting and surprising, to me, as far as the LSD therapy. Cary Grant on an acid trip, lol. Never knew that! Thank you, uploaders.

What a nice movie. And what a great speech he gives near the end. Exactly how a leader should speak.

Kill Switch (2017)
Tisiphone 3 points 3 years ago.

The movie & effects aren’t that bad and it really had potential but..

..70% of the film was shot as if you’re inside an interactive video game. More than half of those scenes require you to read what’s displayed on the graphic user interface as seen by the lead character to know what’s going on. 15 minutes into the movie, I’m starting to wonder, could it be that the studio couldn’t afford to pay Dan Stevens to appear for the entire 90 minutes of the film that they had to resort to this first-person point of view story telling? The experimental camera work is almost as bad as the Blair Witch Project, Cloverfield and Project Almanac (just to name a few). I’ve known people who’ve experienced motion sickness for days after watching these movies.

The only thing I got was a pounding headache that lasted days so I’ve deducted points for pain & suffering.
1.5/5 or 3/10

Ditzygypsy 1 points 2 years ago.

Thanks for the warning. I also really, really wanted to watch 1917, and tried to watch it three times, but the motion was too much, and even Gravol didn’t work well enough to allow me to watch it for very long.

Diamonds to Dust (2015)
Ditzygypsy 1 points 4 years ago.

Oh man. I can’t even remember the last time I witnessed acting, and dialogue writing, this amateur and AWFUL. Biopics are my favourite genre. I’ve seen the movie with Loni Anderson a couple of times. It isn’t a critically-acclaimed product, but the acting is Oscar-worthy compared with this nonsense. This Frank Ferruccio must be a total knob since he was heavily involved in this community theatre production. That’s actually kind of a sleight to community theatre. Right from the beginning, the first altercation at the coroner’s office is SO bad. That’s when I should’ve turned it off. I’m saving you the trouble of wasting your time. But as always, thank you, uploaders, because there are always gems amongst the rubble. I don’t mind sorting.

Three Christs (2020)

Lovely movie and beautiful score.

A Beautiful Mind (2002)
Ditzygypsy 1 points 4 years ago.

I love this movie. Sadly, both John Forbes Nash Jr. and Alicia Nash were killed in a car accident while riding in a cab on the crappy NJ Turnpike in May 2015 after getting back from Norway where John had been awarded the Abel Prize. They had gotten divorced in the early 60s (which isn’t in the movie, although, the turmoil from his illness is obvious), and then remarried again in 2000 or 2001. This is a beautiful movie, and if you don’t know the story, it’ll be a surprise to learn what is really going on. Thank you, uploaders. When I used to have a DVD player and owned physical DVDs, I owned this movie. I like to watch it about once a year.

I found this on here and thought the series looked interesting, and so I went to my digital tv service on my iPad and found it on VOD, and tried to watch this, but it’s like watching an L. Ron Hubbard video. Who on earth would use crackpot kook Alex Jones as a source? This is on my History channel programming. It’s like a bunch of headless chickens produced it. I’m so disappointed. Big fat 0/5 stars.

Ballers (2015) S4 E6
Ditzygypsy 1 points 5 years ago.

Do uploaders, whom I’m grateful for but quite confused by, only pick the ads that play before the video plays for men hiding behind computer screens in lonely dark rooms? I mean, women use these sites. Gay men I’m sure use these sites. Why are the ads so pathetically redundantly, poorly-targeted? Exactly how much click through profit is made? And why not try for the huge demographic that’s being completely ignored? Very perplexing.

Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice (2019)
Ditzygypsy 1 points 4 years ago.

This is a fantastic bio on one of the first true female icons of popular music. There is almost nothing she hasn’t done from southern rock to pop to big band to bluegrass to operetta and traditional Mexican. Tiny woman with a big voice who would still be singing today if she didn’t have Parkinson’s Disease. I can not recommend this bio enough. Thank you, uploaders.

The Gift (2015)
Ditzygypsy 1 points 4 years ago.

This definitely kept me interested, and everything is made clear by the end of the movie with a plausible explanation instead of leaving it as some kind of silly mysterious “powers” that we aren’t allowed to understand. Movies that do that really cheat the viewer, and it’s a lazy cop-out on the part of the writer and director. Everyone gave a good performance, and Edgerton plays someone completely different from his roles in Warrior (which is an excellent movie) or Exodus: Gods and Kings. It definitely is a true Mystery with the tension of a Thriller, and I was skeptical at first, because Horrors are often miscategorized as Thrillers, and most Horror movies are full of silly unexplainable nonsense. Thank you, uploaders.

Seduced: Inside the NXIVM Cult (2020) S1 E1
Ditzygypsy 1 points 3 years ago*.

Interesting how he would deflect from the truth of the accusations by having his die-hard followers say that it’s everyone else who is wrong and crazy and that it’s “fake news”. They defended him by saying the problem isn’t this one man; it’s everyone else. Seems to happen a lot with people in powerful positions who are blatantly corrupt, especially right now. This is one indication that the loyalists are actually involved in a cult and defending a cult leader. And it’s so clear to those with objective reasoning that the most obvious explanation is the simplest: the man, not the media or public, is the corrupt one.

Gladiator (2000)

I hadn’t seen this in a few years, but back when I had DVD players and owned many movies, I did own the full DVD set of this movie at one time, and this particular uploaded version of the movie has some scenes in it that weren’t on the DVD I had. Also, I can’t ignore the fact the the upbeat music that plays during the tense battle scenes is almost identical to the music from the Pirates of the Caribbean, lol. Thank you, uploaders.

Live in Front of a Studio Audience: 'All in the Family' and 'Good Times' (TV Special 2019) (2019)
Ditzygypsy 1 points 4 years ago.

We got “Dy-no-mite”, but no “Stifle it”. I enjoyed this, though. Marissa Tomei really surprised me. I remember both these episodes. I was only 11 in 1976, and All in the Family was not a show I cared for, partly because he just seemed like a mean old man with a weird accent, and he was so nasty to sweet Edith, but we only had 12 channels (barely), so you kind of watched whatever was on until Carol Burnett at 10pm. Thank you, uploaders.

Hoarders (2009) S8 E1
Ditzygypsy 1 points 4 years ago.

Yes, the posted synopsis is correct. I thought it must be a mistake. If you like this show, this is definitely one to watch. Your jaw will probably stay dropped-open for the entire episode in disbelief. She is a mice-pee and poop paper-hoarding slob who uses Depends instead of her toilet (and disposes of them in her bathtub), but she is terrified of germs, and she thinks putting things out in the sun will disinfect mice-pee objects. This one needs serious medication.

Snow White (1916)
[deleted]
Ditzygypsy 1 points 5 years ago*.

Noooo. It’s a Grimm’s Fairytale from the early 1800s, lol. It may even have been a folklore story passed down through oral traditions from before that, but it was definitely published by The Brothers Grimm. I doubt any residuals were paid out to anyone for the story by the time either this or the Disney film came out in the 1930s. I think it’s probably a public domain kind of deal, but if the original publisher of Grimm’s Tales was still in business when this version came out, maybe they received something from these filmmakers.

FYI, these are all also old Grimm’s Brothers’ fairytales that may have been around even before the Grimms published them in the early 19th century:

Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Puss in Boots, Rapunzel… . I never really watched Disney movies as a kid and preferred Elvis movies, lol, so I’m not sure about all the movies that Disney made, so there could be more. It was very cheap to use these time-honoured tales as plots for movies. They made a lot of money.

Married at First Sight (2015) S6 E32
Ditzygypsy 1 points 5 years ago*.

Jules is right. There are girls and there are women in this experiment. And Jessika and Martha are the former. Never mind the audacious mendacity Jess constantly spews about her reasons for holding poor Mick hostage; it’s her utterly heinous lie about Mark’s intentions towards Ning that make her a horribly immature and selfish blonde, duck-lipped bimbo-bitch. I understand they are all in this experiment to try and find love for their empty lives because they haven’t learned to love, or even like, themselves yet, and I agree that since they are not legally married in this [Aussie] iteration of MAFS, they should take love and run with it if they find it. With whomever. However, they should also be forthright about it if it’s not with their “expert”-selected partner. Being deceptive should be a red flag about their personalities and should make anyone they’re covering up with and for, very circumspect about their character.

And WHY the fuck is Martha’s nose always plugged-sounding? I thought it was a cold at first, but it’s still plugged, and it’s annoying. I mean, is it some kind of weird rhinoplasty side-effect? The only things Martha has going for her are that she has a good guy in Michael, a beautiful figure, and she always chooses a classy and flattering skirt length. The others could learn from her in that regard and ditch the awful, body-chopping mini skirts.
