Not necessary. Beginnings are always a bit confusing, but it will become clearer pretty quick. Subbed links are up, filelion is one that has them.

Medieval weapons, a psychic kid and Daryl to save the world! First episode was great.
Not sure why I watch this show. Don’t like cowboys or country music and all the characters are horrible people. Still, I watch.
I’m late watching this series but was enjoying it a lot until this episode. This has ruined my whole day. What a bunch of egotistical psychopaths, playing their power trips out with the lives of other people. Brody went through several hells only to be sacrificed in the end…and they all just get over it, make friends again, smile and continue on. Disgusting.
High on the action and low on plot. Maybe it would make more sense if I had watched all the prior Marvel movies the but quality has been so poor lately.
Well that was different…wild and weird. Just like Nic Cage. Love this guy!
I couldn’t get through this. Maybe would have been better if I’d watched it soon after the series.
The kids characters are brats, the wife character is annoying also.. different points in all the seasons. I wanted to see them offed.
I agree about the wife. Intolerable from the beginning but she might get offed yet. Ruth makes the whole show IMO. This season is slooowwww.
I enjoyed every minute of this. Best action hero who ever lived no matter how old he gets to be. Very well made.
I’m wondering just how much the mom knows about her son’s ‘impulses’. Carrell’s character addresses the violent impulses in the family session but it’s unclear if she knows he’s actually murdered numerous people. Then again she’s ok her son w/kidnapping & keeping the therapist chained up so maybe she does know.
There has to be something wrong with her too. The 30-min-at-a-time suspense is killing me.
Was it just me or is this just like a really slow boring episode? 😴
Wasn’t my favorite episode but left me worrying about what Daemon will do next. It was effective in that regard. He’s nuts.
No way would they have really come out of that car crash without as much as a scratch. What even was the purpose of that? Also no way would that detective have come back to do what he did. Stupid. Marty was an interesting character in the beginning but faded out. The bad guys won. Ruth should have. Disappointing ending.
This gave me nightmares last night. I wish I would quit watching it.
This is good, great at times. E4 is probably the single strangest episode of tv I’ve ever seen. E5 was strange too. Could have done without the talking crow and a few other super silly characters.
Is it ok to start watching this if I haven’t watch the Daryl Dixon spinoff yet??
Yes. They are totally separate as far as I can remember. The Dixon series was better imo.
Brilliant concept…evolution for the protection of the abused. This is surprisingly good.
One reason why I have no use for organized religion! I am a christian but have not been to church in many, many years. Even my own mother hid behind her religion and thought her physical abuse was what the bible said to do to her children! One reason why I never had kids, didn’t want to do to them what she did to me and my brother. What happens to us as children/teens shapes us into the adults we become. And we can become that parent or go in a different direction. Some take the path of drugs/alcohol which is the path we didn’t take. I’m totally different than my mother. At least the people who inflicted such pain and death did have to answer to the Lord. We can hope the wound up in H__, a certain kind of H_!
So sorry you went through that Piglet but glad you and your brother came through to the other side and are okay now. I also had a rough childhood with a militant christian mother and absent father. I am pretty much against all of organized religion now but do like Buddhism.
I went to look up the name of a movie for you, The Magdalene Sisters, and saw that there are lots of movies on the Catholic church’s abuse that I haven’t seen. Not sure if I will watch them tho because I get too upset!
A lot darker and grittier than the original, at least from the first two episodes. I likes Boyd way better than this new nemesis. Nice to see Willa as a teen but I think she needs to be a bit sassier like her momma. All in all it’s entertaining so far.
I got to the middle of the second episode and couldn’t take it anymore. Maybe I’ll try again later. The story is convoluted but not interesting enough to bother to keep up.
I have trouble watching children being abused so I may not watch the movie. But thank you for suggesting it. When I’m at the grocer and I hear a parent yelling at their child, I have to turn and walk away for fear of what I might say and it brings back bad memories too. I’ve fast forwarded through some of the scenes with the girls who are being hit. I just don’t understand the reasons the Catholic church would do this type of things for years and years. This right here is why I don’t like organized religion. All the hellfire and brimstone is not the way to convert people to becoming Christians, scare tactics is not the way and the Lord didn’t intend for this path to be taken by church. I know we’re taught not to question why the Lord does/allows things to happen, but damn, abusing children and even adults is not right no matter the religion!
I totally agree Piglet! Strange how the more they claim to be so goody-two-shoes the worse they are.
If this is just gonna be a zombie shot-em-up I’m gonna quit watching. And they killed off Anna Torv. Not thrilled after this episode.

Is anyone else tired of this plot already? First season was a lot better. I hope the story moves along with the next episode.
Interesting portrayal of emptiness although disturbing overall. So sad that they had a kid…this is what it would be like to be raised by two narcissists with absolutely nothing else in your world.
Not nearly as good as Dopesick but still okay. Some scenes are so overly dramatical that they are ridiculous. Being from the area, some things bugged me, like the town they called Blacksburg was not Blacksburg, and they had Ms. Flowers living in the projects in Roanoke, where no one lives who has a good job. The writing was poor and Ms. Flowers was unnecessarily belligerent. Still, it told some pieces of the story that I didn’t know.
This has made me really want to go to Italy but since I can’t maybe I’ll just paint something florescent green. Such beautiful scenery in this show. Such brilliant greens.
I thought it was a good first episode. Back in all it’s grimy glory. It might not be as good as it was at first but after watching this long, I’m gonna see it through. Anyways, I like it so far.
I’ve found that helps with everything I watch.
Haha this is true. Seems I have covid or something similarly nasty now tho and my lungs are angry:(
I’ve admired Jlo since that halftime show. She is the perfect tough gal action hero and seems to be getting better with age. This was a very good move and had me crying more than once. The world needs more strong women!
If I had only one tv show to watch at the end of the world, Mork and Mindy would be ok, or anything with Robin Williams.
It took all of two seasons but I can now say that Anniston is okay. Witherspoon is excellent. I like the guy who plays Cory and John Hamm is a definite spicy addition. Some really good scenes. Some terrible. Anniston singing show tunes . . . thankfully I can fast forward when needed. Good when you need a drama.
Will we finally find out what happened to Rick???? It’s finally here!
I’ve been watching this during a long period of “nothing else to watch.” Didn’t think watching lots of babies being born would be to my taste, but I got hooked. It’s kinda relaxing to watch and interesting to see bits and pieces of history throughout, especially what women went through back in then and in many ways still to this day. I love the lady who plays Sister Julienne, Jenny Agutter, whose character was based on a real nun.
Check out the documentary, too.

I have the flu and couldn’t find anything else to watch so ended up with this. I’m angry with myself for spending my time on it. What a horrible series. Had a good premise and could have been good but wasn’t. Becky and Ian were only there to whine and complain..the whole bloody time. I’m on the last episode and don’t really even get what’s going on. Really, really awful.
How are so many crazy people in LDS?? Lori Vallow, now these two, and it’s most certainly just the tip of the iceberg. Show NO MERCY to these child abusers. NO MERCY. Viewer discretion advised in watching this.
Seems like they have to have a screw loose to begin with to believe what they preach in LDS.
I thoroughly enjoyed this except for the soundtrack. At times it was jarring. Whoever did that should never be allowed to do another one. There were a few great Stone songs, one super horrible rendition of the Beatles “Come Together” and other tunes that didn’t fit. The CGI of the little dog wasn’t too believable at times. Otherwise, I loved it. Cool castle and costumes.
I love this show. Hope they renew it…He’s sort of like Monk only edgier and a lot more serious.
