Why/How isn’t this a featured movie?

seems like this Debbie storyline is a shout out to the first season of the original Shameless(UK). If you havn’t seen that version it is quite different form the Us one. Still maintains the trashy charm with a side of British .

Just realized this was the last episode of the season well that sucks! This is to good of a show not to be picked up by some network or streaming service.

This is not a typical crime drama to say the least. I don’t think it could be labeled supernatural. A few of the convicts from Great Britian that were sent to Australia brought with them a different type of religion. Over the centuries it became a type of folklore that the locals talked about. A few still practice this religion on the island of Tasmania. Not sure if this drama is one of but if there is another season not sure what direction it will go. Odd, but intriguing and if you’re into mystical stuff, give it a go.

Never watched this because of how it was reviewed and that was a mistake on my part. This was a good horror comedy and worth watching at least once.

It might lessen the problem but wont remove it. People will always try to push their agendas which will annoy anyone on the opposite side.

New here, so I don’t know anyone really other than a tiny fraction of folk. Don’t know Somn, for example. But I do know the train of thought is not that anyone’s a redneck. The train of thought is that based on your hateful closed-minded point of view, that if you view comedy that agrees with you, then perhaps these two particular people are likely to agree with your perspective; not that you’re a redneck. There are plenty of liberal rednecks too by the way. Plenty.

…it’s no insult to Dunham or anyone who likes him… not really… It’s just a matter of pointing someone in the direction of people with whom they might most likely agree with… and why not? Isn’t that what you want? An echo chamber of agreement?

So while you ponder that, why don’t you point out a single instance in history where an Israeli rounded up millions of russians or germans & arbitrarily put them to death based on a political, racial or religious dogmatic hatred? You can also add to that very short list, one single russian comedian who’s known & beloved worldwide for their humor, like say… Jerry Lewis, The 3 Stooges, Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner, Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman, Jerry Seinfeld, Brad Garrett, Richard Lewis, Gilbert Gottfreid, Jeff Ross, Jeff Garlin, Marty Feldman, Carol Kane, Kevin Pollack, Gene Wilder, Laraine Newman, The Marx Brothers- Groucho, Chico, Harpo, Marc Maron, TJ Miller, Jack Benny, Morgan Murphy, etc. etc. etc.

Like all those with a brain disorder, you only chimed in to be negative, to insult, to expose your own racism & hatred for your fellow human beings. No one personally attacked you. This is a comedy film, made by & starring a very real human being who’s full of flaws. Some of those flaws may be his own political beliefs. But this isn’t a review of him, but a single film he made. If it enrages you that he exists & makes films, then don’t watch them. Watch what you like & say positive things about those things. But if you have racial hatred for other human beings, take a breathe & step away. There’s no shame in being silent.

Yes this for sure was a filler episode, and 100 times better than any of the procedurals pumped out on a weekly basis in the US. A lot of people seemed to wish the first season had been longer, and while I was sad to see it end in what felt like a quick fashion, More of these types of episodes is what there is to look forward too if the season were to be stretched any longer. I think they may even be pushing it with 8 episodes and we may get one more filler this season. It seems the BBC has found a sweet spot with most of their limited series clocking in at 6 episode and telling one story with no filler.

Was Crow acting or just acting natural. I love the South Park ep with R.C. This movie made me rock hard from start to fin, So 5/5 for this flick…

Unfortunately the prevailing historical view of the Black Panthers is of gun-toting macho male revolutionaries even though the majority of the membership was young black women and I can’t help but feel that the vision of Fred Hampton was lost because of this distorted view of the Black Panthers.
One of the most essential documents of the radical seventies, the film and the message of Fred Hampton is more needed than ever.

They really just should have made this show a teenage Judith spinoff. Heck, the girl who plays Judith on TWD: Original Recipe is just a year younger than Alexa Mansour’s CHARACTER on this show (Alexa is 24 irl but her character is a teenager. 14 or 15. Cailey Fleming who plays Judith on Original Recipe TWD is 13 irl)

I normally love Bertie’s acting (e.g. in Doctor Foster), but in this one he has a really weird tone of voice…like a villain in children’s fairy tales. It just doesn’t work in a modern setting imo. Other than that, the series is pretty good.

I thought the first season was in the same class. After that, not so much. Good tip, though.

Hurts my heart that nobody mentioned Letterkenny while listing good Canadian tv shows :( IF you’ve somehow never heard of it, give it a whirl, it can be silly at times, but also hilarious.

Loving this series so far. I’m sure they’ll run it into the ground (pun intended) in a few seasons. But for now, it’s fun.

Two episodes in and I am torn. I want to watch the rest, but don’t want the show to end. If you’re a horror fan, Blumbouse anthology is a must watch.
