That awkward moment when people think Arthurian legends are historical fact.

Just annoying that people complain about history. If you like it, watch it. If you don’t, skip it.
I know it’s vastly different, I meant I have a slot open so I’ll fill it with this. I’ll miss Nancy and the crew. Read all the books as a child, and the show was nothing like them. Still, really good and fun.
This would not be my choice. I’ve been watching Harlen Coben’s Shelter and it is in the same vein of Nancy drew. I read the books too. I have been pleased all around with Nancy Drew. Sometimes characters can be annoying but they all mean well.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this gets cancelled. The story is just weak. Background story for bad guy is unnecessary. Either production are big fans of Breaking Bad or they worked on show. Doesn’t add anything to the story at all.
Looking for something to replace Nancy Drew, and the reviews look good on this one. I like that people say it’s not like most cop dramas, because I watch enough of those. Always looking for something different.
Vastly different from Nancy Drew(I like Nancy Drew, still haven’t finished it). The first season is really solid. Second season is still up in the air.
I’m conflicted on this episode. I like the episode but it felt a bit sad. If you’re not one to pay attention to the elder characters, you wouldn’t know who these people were. I did enjoy the 70s dazed and confused setting. It did make for a somewhat fun episode.
What a strange way to end the season. I don’t know about this one.
I have never watched Reservation Dogs, though I have considered it, it looks good, and a lot of people seem to like it. Actually just added a couple things to my list recently, and now and again I wind up adding a movie to my ‘plan to watch’ list, though I rarely ever get to sit down and watch a whole movie anymore, unless it’s something really good that I have been waiting for anymore. Just find that I don’t have the time anymore…
I have a lot of things on my plate at the moment that I am trying to accomplish at the moment, and some possible medical stuff (AGAIN!!!) that’s staring me in the face, so I guess that’s the price of outliving ones enemies….
Was giving some thought of trying once again of culling some stuff from the herd again, but thinking with the actor/writers strike, I might just hang onto what I have as we might not get a lot of new stuff for a while, and I can always backtrack and watch stuff as I get the chance, a little bit here and there, and maybe as I get the change a bit of a binge here and there.
Recently I have had the chance to give myself the time to binge a couple things that I thought were right good, and watch a couple shows as they came out, like ‘Warrior’, which was really well done, and never disappointed, but am going to have to buckle down now on some other things for a bit. Shows will still be here when I’m ready for them. Will go mark Reservation Dogs and give that a chance when I get the chance.
I remember there was one show, can’t remember the name of it, was all Native American, really liked it, but only got one season, got killed off as one of the people behind it got nailed for lying about her heritage I believe, and that get the show cancelled. Thought that was a really bad reason to screw everybody else in the production as everybody else did such a great job. Was a great show, and had a lot of potential.
Native American actors never have really been given the chance to get the opportunity to show just how good they can be at acting, or really show their stuff until recently, and truth be told, they can show some interesting stuff when given the right things to work with, and a bit of funding. Too bad this couldn’t have happened a little sooner.
If you were already on the fence with this show, I wouldn’t recommend Reservation dogs. It’s largely not about anything in particular. It can be funny/interesting but you really have to be into it.
How can you love the characters but not love the show? That makes no sense to me. 🤨😁
It’s not hard to understand. Movies/tv shows can be categorized as plot driven(like this show), character driven or dialogue driven. We are accustomed to mostly plot driven as it’s the most common. Dark winds is a combo of plot/characters but more so plot.
No, and I think the story is moving along as it needs to. It’s also one of the best shows out there at this time, imo.
I’m losing interest in it. I still love all the characters and that will be the only reason I continue to watch. With such few episodes per season, you would think it would be more compelling.
Any one else tired of these kinda movies or am I the only one avengers like movies burnt out.
Is anyone else tired of this plot already? First season was a lot better. I hope the story moves along with the next episode.
This movie stayed with me long after I finished watching it. All kinds of emotions were going through my mind. Anger being primary. And that’s what a good movie does. Gets a reaction out of you. Edward Norton was amazing in this role. Personally, I think he should’ve gotten the Oscar that year. How unfortunate. Asides from that, this movie is definitely worth a watch.
It’s been a while since I watched it by I will revist it once again.
Yep, it’s her 100%. She’s received a lot of criticism for going full nude AND having aggressive body contact, but she was fantastic+
man this has been a good season from the start, hope the ending is all a JOE getter lol
It’s been okay. If there is a season 2, hopefully it will improve.
It had some laughs. I wonder if that was really Jlaw really naked(she looks fantastic). I’m not a fan of her movies but this one was decent. Somewhat raunchy movie.
This is such a strange show. They don’t even know that they can swim! They don’t know what cameras are! This reminds me a little of Snowpiercer, except that those people knew all about modernity. I think the reason people who go outside to clean die is that there is toxic gas in that breathing pack. The sheriff saw the sun and trees and all, but he still died. He just didn’t take off the helmet soon enough.
Have you finished watching the entire series or still have episodes left?
I really enjoyed this one. Not so serious like previous entries. Look forward to part 2.
I absolutely love this show. I hope that we see more shows like this in the future.
you’re way off base. like I said. I like the show. great writing and direction. bad choice in lead. I can watch good acting and direction with the rest of the ensemble cast. His struggles to keep up his mediocre accent is distracting.
Another choice in actor would put this on par with Yellowstone.
Strange. If I don’t like any leads, I’m not watching. What accent is he attempting to do? Joe has been more annoying this season but his ‘mediocre’ accent is not in the least bit distracting. Rarely does he slip up.
I really like this show and want to love it. I’m not a fan of the choice in lead actor. There are plenty of American or Canadian actors that could do this in their sleep with such good writing and directing. Instead we get this guy’s slack-jawed, marble mouthed impression of the Central/Mid North American Accent.
You would think by now you would of stopped watching it. Prerequisite for enjoying a show.
Such bad acting. Surely someone noticed before this aired. Stereotypical cop doing bad for the greater good. C’mon now.
I understand what you’re saying, but in that world a rat’s still a rat, full stop, and look at how he betrayed Creeper to keep his cover, and eventually got him killed. THAT’S why he died, more then anything else, was getting a brother killed. Yeah, he was the anti hero, and he still had (maybe, for some people) some good in him, but he was still a murdering Futhermucker, who would kill whoever he needed to that got in his way.
That being said, he was still driven into that. If he wasn’t, there would have been peace, and not war, which was never something he wanted. Or looked for. But when it came, his response was totally ruthless…
I agree with you. Very ruthless in his actions. I think everything was always destined to fail. So what was the point of it all? If they come up with some spin off, I don’t think I will tune it. It would just be more of the same.
“Director Christopher Nolan recently revealed “Oppenheimer” is his longest film yet. Now, we know just how long the film is — literally. The movie is set to run in 30 IMAX theaters, and the reel of 70mm film is a whopping 11 miles long, Nolan said. Only 30 IMAX locations worldwide have the capability to play the 600-pound IMAX 70mm reel. There are only 30 theaters worldwide, including 19 in the U.S., screening Oppenheimer in that format including the AMC Universal CityWalk in Los Angeles, the AMC Lincoln Square in New York, the Cinemark Dallas, the Regal King of Prussia near Philadelphia and the AutoNation IMAX in Fort Lauderdale.” The whole 3-hour movie won’t be seen in my home state because there isn’t a theater that can show such a massive film.
So where is one able to see the film outside of those theaters? I’m lucky, we have 2 of those theaters in my area but frankly I’m not going to watch it. I could care less about this film.
Yeah, agreed. Said about the same thing, just a little less. Just a horrible ending for nearly everybody. Could have worked it out differently. Good that they finally found out that Angel was a rat, that needed to happen, but the rest…
EZ was the informant but he was only informing on Galindo/cartel. He stayed true to the MC so it makes no sense that they wouldn’t give him the benefit of the doubt. Crackhead cop was ambitious/arrogant and pyschotic. Why would creeper believe anything she has to say. Same goes for Bishop. Bishop was pissed that EZ took over and did what he said he was going to do. Let’s say no else died, where would the MC be? The crazy mercs would just come and annihilate everyone anyways. A lot of people view EZ as the villain. He was definitely an anti-hero. Villains don’t help anyone but themselves. Time and time again, we were shown that EZ still had good in him despite everything (even killing Gaby).
What a terrible ending. All that for nothing. Everyone dead except Angel. Proves you really need good writers for a show like this.
There was a moment in the 21th or last episode where he was with Agnes and there was a tip about Mother instincts uttered as Red said something like “thats mother instict for ya” or something along those lines…..when it was said it really peeked my interest, but of course nothing more on the matter
That was just a cheeky bit on the writers part. They know all the fan theories. Would not put too much though into it.
Maybe Agnes inherits the Reddington empire and the blacklist. She just picks up where red left off but she comes off as more of a Sydney Bristow (Alias) type chartacter.
Farfetched but I like the way you think! I loved Alias in the beginning.
I certainly didn’t see that coming at all! In most American crime dramas I have the killer(s) figured out! But not this time! And there are still 2 episodes left! How is this going to end?!
It will be interesting. Will Joe become Sheriff or Head of Game/Wildlife?
Looks like reduced cast. Doesn’t have the same feel. Not feeling hopeful with this first episode.
Season 2 should be up soon. Woohoo!
Usually international shows take a little longer to get uploaded. If someone was on the up and up, it would of been here. Considering they’re a day ahead of us, I don’t mind waiting.
That, and the way he died, it just wasn’t a fitting end for him, just not fitting at all. They could have done better than that, for real.
I think what happened is somebody had a hairbrained idea and they ran with it. James Spader did a phenomenal job but I think he was ready to move on. I think after season 8 we weren’t going to get the resolution we wanted.
What I really hated is that we never knew what sickness he had. Was he really Katerina?
Given how bad the reviews have been i am suprised i liked it as much as i did. Watching some of the old Indiana jones movies seem so dated so nice to see a newer one. I admit it was not perfect, but again, compared to what i have heard, i rather liked it. Give it a 7.5 out of 10.
Generally critic reviews are never favorable. You either like it or you don’t. Waiting to see in cinema. Not something you watch on your laptop.
Interesting first two episodes, already trying to figure out who’s the liar and who’s not.
Will definitely continue to watch.
I’m just being nitpicky but besides Dimitri’s dad, no one is actually Russian. I imagine the budget isn’t too big for this one but it throws you off because of the dialogue the Russian characters have during the episode.
George Lopez being in a DC movie is kinda crazy. DC movies are always more fun. I’m in for sure.
The acting in this is atrocious. Keep that in mind. I’ll still watch it for a bit.
This is basically the penultimate episode since the end will be a 2 parter. What a ride. We never did get the answers we wanted. Did we really need them. I guess not.
I’ve been catching up with recent episodes. I feel like some things are done for shock value. It’s like what’s the point. I guess it comes with the territory.
Emily is like a dog with a bone. Does she really think the EZ will just lay down after he helped with her problem. Sarah Bolger is great actress but her character is super annoying. Even though EZ & Emily have good chemistry, I don’t see how they could ever be together in the long term.
I just want to say that it isn’t all that good. It’s totally watchable. Let’s see if it improves.
where is this out of? yes it looks like it would be good.
I’m down for this. Don’t much care for the plot but it does look entertaining.
Yeah I’ll watch that. Idris Elba has had some stinkers but this looks good.
Can’t wait to see this…
