Here’s a little bit more about this new limited series and it sounds intriguing…..“A Murder at the End of the World.” The seven-episode limited series is Agatha Christie by way of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” following a hacker-turned-amateur sleuth (Emma Corrin) who investigates a death at a secluded Icelandic retreat. Featuring a killer soundtrack and potent supporting turns from Clive Owen and Harris Dickinson, the nervy thriller takes a chilling dive into our obsessions with true crime and artificial intelligence.”

Aussie dramas always draw me in. So much so that I’ve begun to recognize the faces. And so many of my faves in this one: Judy Davis, Deborah Mailman, Wayne Blair.
Then another fave gets mentioned (thanks bevnick!), Sofia Helin, and sold!

Still no release date but here is a bit more info on this new series. “The Acolyte,” the first “Star Wars” series set outside the Skywalker Saga, could be the change we need. The upcoming series is a mystery-thriller set 100 years before “Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace.” A Jedi and their former Jedi master investigate a series of crimes in the final days of the High Republic era, a peaceful time before the Dark Side starts to stir trouble.”

The Nordic (Denmark/Germany/Sweden) crime drama on which it’s based, was an original series complemented by several movies. So good that I had to create a playlist with them all, just to keep track!
Fingers crossed they don’t “fix what ain’t broke” as the original series and movies were excellent. The two main actors, Nikolaj Lie Kass and Fares Fares, made a great team. We shall see if there’s the same chemistry between Goode and Manvelov. Also, Byrne and Macdonald usually deliver with their performance. So, it’s up to the writers…sigh!

Wow.this season was really bad.i kept hoping for it to get better and it disappointed on every front the season finale was very very bad. I can’t remember the other seasons very well but supernatural stuff wasn’t real was it?just evil people doing evil things.

I dunno—I’m female and I admit to loving all sorts of mindless things I shouldn’t, and despising girly “romcoms” that I should. Oh well. I just like to sometimes pop out my eyes, set ‘em in front of the screen, and watch the crazy car-fu while my brain skips happily away to do other things requiring more reason and thought.(ʘ‿ʘ)

FINALLY the underlying truth comes out, after 36 episodes! Most of S2 up to here has been ‘filler’ stories tbh, a lot of it nothing to do with ‘the pattern’ we heard so much about in S1. I like FRINGE a lot but they really stretched out the main story with a lot of episodic ‘weird science’ stories. Anyway i’m pushing on with a slow binge of review.. LOCKDOWN has proven ideal for re-watching old favourites! :))x

Hi Canadian living in Canada here. The CBC in fact did not want to cancel the show, they did try to save it and find someone worthy of being Ins replacement… The CBC did order a 6th season but Ins was done making tv and wanted more. The one who really started this was Ins Choi because he wanted to produce movies and make more money. The CBC did in fact try to find another Korean Canadian writer for the show but they felt like others were not adequate to take over, so with no other options… they chose to end the show….. the show’s fate ultimately lied in Ins Choi’s hands…..

The episodes seem to be named incorrectly but I’m finding that on every site…so…it’s a gimmick? Whatteva!
