overall disappointing. a lot happened in the last 10 min that we’ll never get answers to. this show would have been so much better without the religious rhetoric and if they had tied up the countless plot holes

i like the suspense of the first one better but this was still entertaining. it gives a tiny bit more information about these creatures and how the world came to be this way
definitely unique. i kept wondering what was going to happen, so it kept me on my toes
Look. this isn’t good. I’m such a sucker for any romance movie so for me to say that is actually saying something.it is not what the trailer and synopsis make it out to be. the characters are not interesting, they have little development. it’s like someone tried to do a really awful modernization of pride and prejudice’s characters. i’m sure people out there have dangerous first-love stories like this one. But this is over-dramatized when there’s no reason for it. i don’t think it’s worth your time. that’s just my honest opinion.
saw in theaters, thought it was great and very different from the 90’s version. i think i still love the 90’s more. but there are some aspects, especially in character development/relationship development, that i like better in this version
this is definitely not an action or suspense movie, it’s barely a ‘movie’ at all. It’s more like a memory really, like you had been with them adjacently the whole time. Which makes it unique because instead of having actors play these people, he chose to use the real people involved. Getting background into who they are doesn’t seem very important until you see the minor coincidences play out. I think that’s how life is too, so it’s interesting to see a 1 in a million movie where the story unfolds like that of true life. There’s no dramatic music or eloquent script. it’s very forthright. I won’t deny that i was pretty bored through a lot of it but by the end I appreciated the direction eastwood took and the courage it must have taken to only live through this once but to live through it again for film’s sake.
you really wont get the same impact of this unless you have listened to at least serial, let alone the other related podcasts. this is not like making a murderer – it’s not dramatically setting up a story and evidence for you. it’s really more like supplemental information to what you should already know when you begin watching it.i thought it was very interesting. i know lots of very cut and dry info about this case, so much so that sometimes you forget it’s real people. i loved that this focused on bringing hae to life in some way, shape, or form, so that her narrative is told as well. there were 2 or 3 things in this episode that i did not know, that were new info. so if you know the case, i recommend watching. if you have no idea who these people are…do yourself a favor and listen to serial (podcast online) first because you won’t mix up the people and quick references to evidence that way. and if you are REALLY into detail and legal stuff, listen to undisclosed for better info
Serial is horrendous. Save your time. I’d rather pound nails into my privates, or watch paint dry.
i agree, undisclosed is better, but you can’t just jump into that either without knowing info. my point is they don’t start at the beginning in this series or in most other podcasts. the only way to get the beginning is to listen to serial and/or read the news articles (where you’ll still not get all the info)
one of my favorite movies. evan rachel wood never never dissappoints
it was nice seeing this tie up to a new hope. and i like that their graphics look like a blend of 1-3 and 4-6, more realistic and continual that way
this was very difficult to watch. but a reminder of the past and why we should try very hard not to repeat it. unfortunately humans fail at it every day.
and if you haven’t seen cloverfield this movie still makes sense and is a good watch. i’ve never seen the others in the series
i thought this was pretty fascinating, but i enjoy math. i didn’t love how it ended but i think if you enjoy math/science and suspense you’d like it
the whole episode is just her burning shit and people running. where was the creativity? where was the horrendous death that cersi deserves? oh lets not get vengeance for all the awful she’s done, lets just let rocks fall on her…SO DUMMMBBB. aside from that it was really just them making us think aria was dead like 10 times. meh episode in my opinion.
i really hope it’s more than 8 episodes. this show is too good to only have 8!
i thought this was very interesting. makes me want to fly in a hot air balloon
do you now how much i wish this movie had a sequel so i could know what happens next?!
The current streamplay version will have blurred subs in very few parts and 1 part near the beginning with a language change. other than that, it’s good. For the movie itself, i expected it to be not great and i was actually impressed! There are many similarities to the animation, but also many differences. Will smith was great and i LOVE what they did with the genie. I did not like jafar, he is actually much more fleshed out in the animation. Lots of surprising costuming, some changes to iconic things, but it didn’t bother me. There were a few kinda iconic things omitted that did bother me but i won’t spoil that for you. by comparison, beauty and the beast was VERY cut and paste and i loved it for that. aladin has much more variation, but i think it worked well. overall, i was impressed. i think it’s definitely worth watching if you loved the animation.
one of my fav nicholas spark stories, and definitely my favorite ending
i enjoyed this! it’s kind of like if clue, and then there were none, and happy death day had a movie baby.i’d watch again
if you’re debating watching this, watch it. everyone who i’ve seen talked into watching it loves it. actually i’ve never seen anyone who dislikes it. its just got great characters and writing. but once you start, do not use the internet…basically. don’t google it or get on social media. there will be spoilers everywhere that will ruin important things later on.
wow. so interesting to hear from jen and “not her name cathy”. and a pool hall?! that’s new to me. how many stories did this man tell?!
i loved this! i dunno why people thought it was bad. if you like rom-coms this is for you
pretty brilliant. if any real escape room was as complex as that(aside from the danger part)i’d be so impressed. reminds me in some ways of saw or inception, the way the writers would have to think to come up with that. i would definitely watch this again
really good if you like the Amish love story type movies. definitely has a jane austen feel to it.
i LOVE this show. you have to be dedicated…each episode is over 2 hours and if you don’t speak turkish you’ve got to read subtitles but i think its totally worth it. the characters are so great
shoulda decked her. i’d have pushed her in front of that bus a long time ago.
That about sums it up for me, too. Saw VERY little in too many scenes (and I know they designed it that way!) Maybe I’ll try viewing it again in a more darkened room… :-/
yeah i was in pitch black and the only things i had trouble seeing were the scenes in the first 30 min with the clashing
this was ok. a bit dreary for my taste since i didn’t want to watch main characters mope around for 3 hours, which is what it is. but if that doesn’t bother you, it’s a tale about a town smuggling ring and whether or not it can be moral. there’s a bit of mystery to it as well, all though i did not find it intriguing enough to want to watch again. I watched for the the main characters because i love those actors
well i have a new appreciation for a disease i didn’t know about. this movie is endearing and about young love, adventure, hope, fear. i know there are several others in the genre and i haven’t seen them, except for my sister’s keeper,so i can’t compare. but i think this is worth the watch. and i love haley lu richardson so i watch all of her stuff.
i actually liked this and am very surprised that i did because i had prepared myself to hate it. it’s quite literary. that’s all i’ll say!
saw in theaters. i love the first one, this one is really like additional information. it’s still humerous and suspenseful at parts and follows a similar plot layout to the first one. i definitely like the first better, but if you liked the first, you should watch this one for the info it provides. i think this was maybe a bit too complicated and it felt like they tried to do too much in a small amount of time.
strange. i’ve never seen the entire play (i’ve seen bits and pieces) but i knew it was strange to begin with. i do think jennifer stole the show, no surprise there. didn’t love the modern choreography they gave to derulo and his backup dancers. mostly i was irritated by the proportions. they were not only incorrect, but also inconsistent. the sets were too large and the “cats” would be more like large bird size at that ratio. i definitely won’t watch this again. i wanted to see it to understand what the musical was about since it’s one of the few i haven’t seen. i think most of it is pointless honestly. there are some metaphors, some important characters and lessons. but mostly this play is ridiculous nonsense. if you’re going to write a show at least give it substance.
pretty powerful. especially when it’s still huge in the news in 2019
