While on holiday in an Italian village, tragedy strikes British couple Jacob and Christy Newman when their 7 year old daughter Alice goes missing. One year on, the police investigation hasn’t turned up any clues, Alice has still not been found and Jacob and Christy have separated. Believing that his daughter is still alive, Jacob returns to the village in Italy to begin his own investigation. As Jacob gets closer to the truth about his daughter’s disappearance he is plagued by haunting dreams and frightening incidents, forcing him to question what is real and what isn’t.
