Trapped, and berated by his parents on a daily basis, fifteen-year-old David escapes from home and embarks on a thrilling journey across the state of Texas to reach his destination, the beach. In his travels David encounters several different characters that help him grow out of his shelled life. Among them, a mysterious woman who talks David into giving her a lift, a gang of thieves with an unstable leader, and a self-proclaimed minuteman, hell-bent on defending the U.S border with his vigilante justice. Filled with romance, suspense, and danger, Anywhere, TX is one boy’s coming of age journey into manhood. |
