Former grid stars Johnny Mack Brown (Alabama) and Dick Foran (Princeton) show their heirs the pros and cons of football; Mickey Rooney’s MGM team, which includes Frankie Darro and Bobby Breen, take a trouncing as officials Jackie Coogan and Wayne Morris officiate, and such stars as Gene Autry, Betty Grable and Melvyn Douglas cheer them on; meantime a galaxy of stars including Cary Grant, Phyllis Brooks, George Raft, Maxie Rosenbloom and Bing Crosby watch professional football, and Joe E. Brown is shown with his football playing sons. |
