Details:

A young and up-and-coming film developer, Blake Driver, is highly in demand for the vacancy at hotshot executive Morris Bergman’s prestigious production company. The void is set to be left by the firing of Oliver Heupel, a family man whose marriage is on the rocks and in great jeopardy after his untimely dismissal. While scrambling to put together his latest blockbuster, Bergman is also trying to save his own marriage. His wife constantly questions his faithfulness to her and his dedication to his children. One of the pieces of this blockbuster is Amber Leonne, a beautiful actress vying for the lead role in Bergman’s film. Aside from being a struggling actress in a cutthroat industry, Amber finds herself stuck in a relationship with her unsupportive and unemployed boyfriend, Tyler, who’d instead rather sit around their dingy apartment playing video games all day. In order to improve her chances of finally landing her “big break”, Amber resorts to pleasuring the producer in sleazy motel rooms when the cameras aren’t rolling. Blake’s wholesome girlfriend, Rachel, however, is very supportive of her boyfriend and excited for his upcoming interview with the acclaimed producer. She prepares his finest wardrobe and even arranges a celebration for afterwards. All the stars are now aligned perfectly, until a wrench is unexpectedly thrown in everyone’s plans. Due to a miscommunication between Morris and his secretary (who satisfies more than just his secretarial needs), and then Blake and Rachel, Blake is a no-show for his interview. Desperate to find his man, Morris promises Amber her “dream” role under the condition that she is somehow able to locate Blake at the last minute. Amber hopelessly goes searching on the nearby beach, where in the distance the downtrodden Oliver is contemplating taking his own life on a tall cliff above the ocean. Soon after, Morris aimlessly stumbles onto the same beach, in a fruitless last gasp effort to get a hold of Blake. While dejectedly walking back to his office from the beach, he runs into someone he believes to be a random beach-goer , but unbeknownst to him, it is actually Blake. Never having met each other and unaware of the other’s physical appearance, they each casually brush it off and carry on. Morris swears under his breath as he exits the beach in his expensive suit, thinking a golden opportunity has just eluded him. Blake, meanwhile, just continues basking in the sun, harmlessly wondering why the man in the expensive suit is so distressed, and completely oblivious to all the damage he’s unintentionally caused to those around him.
