Details:

In 2009 the doors finally closed on the ancestral home of the Lancashire Fusiliers, as the regimental museum moved from Wellington Barracks to its new, state-of-the-art Fusilier Museum in Bury Town Centre. Featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the museum, interviews with key personnel, former Fusilier veterans and archive footage of the regiment in action, this film explores a history over 300 years in the making. Presented by acclaimed television historian Simon Entwistle, this is the true story of the Lancashire Fusiliers, and their eventual amalgamation into one of the proudest infantry regiments in the British Army - The Royal Regiment Of Fusiliers, as told through the archives, displays and artefacts from Bury’s new Fusilier Museum.
