After the fall of communism in the early 1990s, a few people still live in abandoned Albanian villages. Liliana, a broad-minded woman, has been abandoned by her husband and the village is slowly starting to run out of steam. The inhabitants are confronted with dramatic events and foreign religion missionaries keep on coming. |
