Created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, Tom & Jerry is a classic animated cartoon centered on the never-ending rivalry between a cat (Tom) and mouse (Jerry), with an occasional appearance by the bulldog named Spike.

The famous cat and mouse duo is back in an all-new series, The Tom and Jerry Show. Premiering Wednesday April 9 at 5:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network, The Tom and Jerry Show is a fresh take on the iconic frenemies that preserves the look, core characters and sensibilities of the original theatrical shorts. Comprised of two 11-minute elements, each episode will feature Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse plotting against each other-with Tom's determination matched only by Jerry's own cleverness in evading capture. But this time the cartoon mayhem will not be limited to only Tom and Jerry's familiar suburban setting. In The Tom and Jerry Show, the title characters' nonstop game of cat and mouse will expand to also include more fantastic worlds, from a witch's cabin to a mad scientist's lab.

Tom & Jerry Kids is an animated television series, co-produced by Hanna-Barbera and Turner Entertainment, starring the cat-and-mouse duo Tom and Jerry as children (kitten and mouse). The show premiered in 1990 and continued airing until 1994. It began airing as the first program of the FOX's children's block, Fox Kids on September 8, 1990.

Everyone's favorite slapstick superstars are back! Tom and Jerry star in their first US television series in more than 13 years. Look for the endless rivalry and over the top mayhem that have made Tom and Jerry perennial cartoon favorites. Scheduled to air on The CW Kids (which will be replacing Kids WB when the UPN and WB merge into one network) during a new morning block entitled, "Too Big For Your TV" on Saturday mornings later this fall. Tom and Jerry must save a girl from her evil aunt.

George and Joan are going out for the night. George tells Spike to keep an eye on the house while they are away. Butch the cat, who is also owned by George and Joan, telephones his friends Lightning, Topsy, and Meathead (who is for some reason portrayed as a gray cat instead of a brown cat with a red toupee) to come to a party at his house. And hi-jinx ensue.

An animated re-telling of the film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, in which Tom and Jerry help Charlie Bucket attain a Golden Ticket and secretly accompany him into Willy Wonka's chocolate factory to prevent one of Wonka's competitors from stealing a special candy known as the Everlasting Gobstopper, but also experience the wonderful world of the chocolate factory with the guide of Tuffy, an oompa-loompa mouse.

After wrecking their house during a chase, Tom and Jerry enter a race around the world where the winner gets a new fancy house.

Tom is left in charge of a priceless magical ring by his young wizard master. He is then horrified when the ring gets stuck on Jerry's head, who then runs off into the city.

This Tom and Jerry cartoon is set in 17th century France. Tom, who is a soldier in the King's castle, is assigned to guard the food laid out on a banquet table. Jerry and a smaller mouse companion, two wandering "mouseketeers," make the situation miserable for Tom as they abscond with (and occasionally eat) all the food they can.

When Jerry befriends a canary Tom finds it necessary to construct a makeshift pair of wings.

Tom, whose appetite was whetted by a radio cooking program, wants to make a meal out of the pet goldfish. Jerry, who is friends with the fish, does what he can to thwart their feline foe.

Jerry is far from Tom's servant here. Tom, shipwrecked, washes up on a tropical island. His first attempts at food - a coconut and a turtle - are much too hard. But he spots Jerry just before Jerry sees him, and soon has him in the frying pan. Jerry escapes to a cannibal village; when he sees Tom's frightened reaction, he has his plan. Using soot from a pot, he blackens himself, then threatens Tom and starts cooking him. But Jerry's plan - and tail, and un-blackened bottom - is exposed when his grass skirt comes off during his war dance. Jerry helicopters away using the bone in his hair, and leading Tom right into the real cannibals. But Jerry's triumph is short-lived, as a pygmy cannibal comes after him.

Mammy Two-Shoes agrees to babysit three seemingly innocent kittens. But while she is away buying cream, the trio of brats torment Tom and Jerry.

Tom has amnesia and believes he's a mouse. Jerry, finding him more obnoxious as a fellow rodent than as a cat, seeks to cure him with a blow to the head.

Tom's getting ready to settle into the hammock, but Jerry has beat him to it and the battle begins.

Tom's in love again, and Jerry's devil conscience reminds him of times this has happened in the past (which, of course, we see, in the form of clips from earlier shorts), and how that's been nothing but trouble for Jerry.

Spike has just washed his pup. Tom and Jerry's chase knocks him into a mud puddle. Spike makes Tom clean him up again and promise to keep him clean which of course is Jerry's opening to get Tom in trouble.

Tom is duck hunting, and he wings a little duckling that can't quite keep up with the flock. Jerry gets to the fallen duck before Tom, bandages his wing, and shelters him from Tom as he keeps running out to join his flock.

Well, a mouse *is* stirring... And he's having fun playing with the toys, until he mistakes Tom for a stuffed toy and wakes him up.

Tom and his army of stray cats take over Jerry's magical kingdom of living toys. Chased by Tom and his cronies, Jerry must find the Toymaker and get help to win his kingdom back before sunrise when the window of opportunity closes.

Miss Red is being blackmailed. When she asks Sherlock Holmes for help, he connects her case to a series of jewel thefts and tells his assistant Jerry the Mouse to work with Red's butler Tom the Cat for the duration of this case.

Tom and Jerry are the faithful servants of Jack, the owner of a struggling storybook amusement park that gets a much-needed boost thanks to some mysterious magical beans

Tom is conducting a symphony at the Hollywood Bowl when Jerry comes out to "help" him.

Jerry finds himself in charge of a foundling mouse called Nibbles, who is eager to steal milk from Tom's bowl and oblivious to the danger.

It's Independence Day, and Jerry's little nephew, Nibbles, wants to celebrate with fireworks, while Jerry reminds him to "keep it safe and sane." Initially, this backfires against Jerry, as his attempts to dispose of the firecrackers Nibbles lights explode in his face, but ultimately, Nibbles saves Jerry from Tom with the usual cartoon uses of black powder.

A supply satellite arrives at the space station where Tom (despite his high-tech gadgets) is having no better luck than usual at catching Jerry before he gets the cheese.

With the Wicked Witch of the West now vanquished from Oz, Tom and Jerry along with Dorothy are back in Kansas! But not for long as an all-new villain has surfaced from beneath the magical land, the Gnome King! Having captured the Good Witch, the Gnome King and his army are wreaking havoc throughout Oz and need but one item to take control of The Emerald City, Dorothy's ruby slippers! It's up to our favorite cat and mouse duo to team up, go Back to Oz and save the land they love. Tom heads for a big city penthouse to become acquainted with a rich pretty female cat that lives there. He brings her Jerry as a gift and does some humiliating things to Jerry. Jerry, in turn, attracts the attention of another cat who also becomes interested in the female cat. It eventually turns into a fight between Tom and the other cat for the lady's hand but Jerry is the one who gets her in the end.

The baby is left alone with a sitter, and Tom and Jerry are raiding the kitchen and, since the sitter is spending all her time on the phone, watching over the baby, who seems amazingly adept at breaking out of his crib.

While carrying on their usual chases, Tom and Jerry inadvertently stow-away on a spaceship bound for Mars.

A dancing bear, who escaped from a circus, uses Tom as his reluctant dance partner.

As the title implies, Tom and Jerry are in a bowling alley. Both spend a lot of time sliding on the well-polished lanes. Eventually, Jerry takes up residence among the pins and Tom tries to bowl him down.

Using a kit that contains both Tom and Jerry anyone can enter the lucrative field of animated cartoons.

The Tom and Jerry Comedy Show is the 5th incarnation of the cartoon franchise and the second made-for-tv series. The 30 minute episodes were cut into three parts made up of two 7 minute Tom and Jerry shorts with one "Droopy Dog" episode in the middle segment.

Jerry's raiding the fridge, carrying off a giant wedge of cheese. Tom's feeling playful, so he piles the cheese high with dishes, builds a set of bread-slice steps, and ends them on a rolling pin. This sends Jerry crashing, of course. Jerry puts the cheese back. Tom dips a paw into a bowl of jelly in the process and decides to raid the fridge; he puts Jerry's tail under an iron. After some snacking, Tom buries Jerry in the cream from a creampuff. But he also tosses the cheese wedge into the china cabinet, bringing Mammy down to scold him. Time for a scapegoat: Tom stuffs Jerry into the fridge, then runs to the next room. When Mammy screams, Tom chases Jerry but this chase ends differently, with Tom trapped in the ironing board. Jerry takes careful aim with a fork, sending Tom into the fridge, where Mammy thrashes him as Jerry munches on the cheese.

Jerry and Tom go back and forth framing each other for their misdeeds.

A cat and a mouse must outsmart a band of pirates to find buried treasure.

Tom steals a witch's flying broom so he can scare the wits out of Jerry.

When Tom's harassment gets out of hand, Jerry writes to his Cousin Muscles, a tough inner city mouse, and asks for his help.

Spike the bulldog warns Tom to keep away from his son, Tyke. Jerry realizes that sticking close to the boy is the best way to repel his feline tormentor, but Tom is not about to let the mouse evade him so easily.

Tom has a nightmare of being pounded by a giant dog. Jerry lures Tom into a series of encounters with the miniature vicious bulldog introduced in The Cat's Me-Ouch (1965). Tom finally decides the nightmare wasn't so bad after all.

Tom is desperate for sleep after a night of revelry with his friends, but Mammy Two-Shoes demands that he stay awake to keep the mouse out of the refrigerator. Jerry, being a clever mouse, sees his opportunity to get rid of the cat.

Time for the big horse race. We drop in on the fillies, who gossip in New York accents. That's followed by a pre-race fashion parade. In both of these, Maggie doesn't join in; she runs every year, but suffers from hay fever. The actual race is run, and Maggie is far back in the field. The other horses hear it's going to be a photo finish, though, and they all come to an abrupt stop and pose except Maggie, who keeps running and wins the race.

Tom is in a pool hall after hours; as he soon discovers, Jerry is sleeping in the corner pocket. Tom chases Jerry around the table and the rest of the pool hall.

Tom settles in for a day at the beach with his sweety, accidentally ruining Jerry's day. Meanwhile, Tom's girl is paying more attention to the bodybuilders than to Tom.

While Mammy Two-Shoes enjoys her evening with the Lucky Seven Saturday Night Bridge Club, Tom and his friends have a party in the house. Jerry, unable to sleep, emerges from his mouse hole to stop it.

When a duck hatches from the egg underneath Tom, he is convinced he is his mother. Tom thinks that he would like to eat the newborn duck, but Jerry shows him the truth while saving him from being eaten.

Tom (Jasper) gets told that if he breaks one more thing he is getting thrown out, so Jerry tries his best to make Jasper "Get the Boot".

Jerry is chased into a circus, where he removes a tack from the foot of an elephant. This gets him a friend for life, and a powerful ally in the continuing battles with Tom, not that it stops Tom from trying, even when Jerry becomes part of the act.

Tom is playing with Jerry when someone delivers a cute lady cat for Mammy to take care of. Tom is smitten at first sight, and primps a bit. He offers a fish and a canary, but she's not interested. He then retrieves Jerry (filed under "M" in a filing cabinet), again proving unusually competent. He does several magic tricks with Jerry, producing him in a box of chocolates and Toots' bow, and finally tucking Jerry behind him. While trapped there, Jerry grabs a hat and uses the hat pin to even the score a bit. He runs away to a record changer, and gets Tom caught up in the machinery. With Tom thoroughly defeated (and the machine thoroughly broken), Jerry primps a bit himself, kisses Toots, and sashays into his hole.

Tom and Spike, whose cat food and dog food is getting too expensive, are forced to compete as mousers. The one who catches Jerry gets to stay.

Jerry agrees to help an escaped circus lion, whose first need is food. But first they'll have to evade Tom, who heard the news bulletin and is armed with a shotgun.

A baby woodpecker mistakes Jerry for his mother. The mouse rejects the newly hatched bird but soon finds himself protecting it against his feline nemesis, Tom.

While golfing, Tom puts Jerry to work as a tee, but Jerry intentionally messes things up.

Jerry and Tuffy lead a quest to the dinner. So, Tom, Jerry and Tuffy had a fight over thanksgiving. In the end, Tom, Jerry and Tuffy agree to eat the turkey but Tuffy ate the whole turkey.

Jerry uses a robot mouse to snatch a sample from a lunar cheese mine being mined by robots; Tom gives chase with a robot cat.

Musketeer Jerry's old friend, François Mouse, sends his son for training. But when Jerry has to save the tyke from a run-in with Tom, the little one is sent packing until he manages to save Jerry.

Jerry keeps attacking Tom in his sleep and although he tries to stay awake it doesn't work as he follows the cat by sleepwalking.

The Bide-a-Wee Mouse Home has sent the orphan mouse, Nibbles, to spend Thanksgiving with Jerry. But Jerry's cupboard is bare, and Nibbles is always hungry. They start by raiding Tom's milk dish, but Tom wakes up and drains it. Fortunately, Mammy has just put out a huge Thanksgiving feast, just ready for the raiding. And that's just what Jerry and Nibbles do, grabbing Pilgrim hats from the table decorations. All goes fairly well until Nibbles eats a whole orange, which is way too big for him. Jerry smacks him with a spoon, which sends the orange flying, right into Tom's mouth. Tom stalks up to the table in a feather duster, which turns into an Indian headdress. Battle follows, featuring Tom sending flaming cat-tails after the mice, and culminating in a champagne bottle launching Tom into the dish cabinet, which crashes down. Tom waves a white flag, and all three sit down to a polite dinner, but Nibbles eats the whole turkey before anyone else can touch it.

Secret agent Jerry-akin has to steal a giant refrigerator full of cheese, guarded by the evil Tom Thrush with a vast array of diabolical gadgets and traps. Of course, Jerry has a few tricks of his own.

Tom and Jerry are taking a cruise when Tom decides to go surfing. He has problems with a shark and a rather tenacious starfish.

Tom and Jerry face off in a series of duel scenarios, using everything from slingshots to swords to cannons.

2565 AD. Tom and Jerry are once again manipulating robot versions of themselves in space. Tom experiments with invisibility, a giant electromagnet, and explosives, with results from bad to disastrous.

Tom is all set to eat Jerry when a hawk swoops down and grabs Jerry. To get Jerry back, Tom poses as a female hawk and quickly finds his new lover to be more than he bargained for.

A Spanish cat is more interested in playing flamenco guitar than trying to catch the mouse El Magnifico (Jerry). Tom arrives from the States with world champion mouse-catching credentials to have a go. He quickly catches El Magnifico, but the mouse keeps returning. Then Tom acts as the bull, succumbing to Jerry's matador. Both Tom and Jerry speak (in Spanish).

Jerry is a cheese rustler in the old west and Tom gets deputized to bring him to justice.

A snooty woman hires Tom and Calaboose Cal to rid her apartment of Jerry in The Penthouse Mouse.

Tom Cat guards Robin Hood's prison cell; Jerry Mouse and his diaper-wearing friend intend to be Robin's rescuers.

Tom hears a ghost story on the radio and is spooked by it; Jerry notices this and takes advantage of it, using a variety of tricks to scare Tom.

Jerry is bored and lonely after Tom gets booted from the house so he decides to get him back inside.

Spike has just put Tyke to bed for his nap when Tom and Jerry chase out the door to Tyke's crib, waking him up. This gives Tyke an attack of hiccups. Spike warns Tom not to wake him up again, which of course is all Jerry needs...

The family dog warns Tom not to make any noise so he can take a nap. Jerry hears this and immediately devises plans to ensure that the dog's nap will be interrupted (breaking plates, playing musical instruments, etc.). One of the few cartoons in the Tom and Jerry series in which one of the main characters speaks.

Spike and Tyke are sleeping, when Tom and Jerry run by. Tom, intent on finding Jerry, handles Tyke thoughtlessly and gets a warning from Spike. Of course, this means Jerry hangs out with the dogs and does what he can to get Tom in trouble.

Tom steals an egg from a mother's nest, cracks it over a frying pan and then discovers he can have roast duck. But the uncooperative hatchling runs away from the cat and into a mouse hole, where he finds an able protector in Jerry.

Tom chases Jerry through the streets of Naples; they meet a local mouse who recognizes them from their cartoons and shows them around. Meanwhile, some local dogs are shadowing them.

Mammy has just finished cleaning the whole house. Tom, meanwhile, has just chased Jerry through a mud puddle and into the house. Mammy stops him and makes him clean up the mess. She goes out shopping, and threatens Tom that if there's any mess when she gets back, he's out. Jerry hears this, and you know where it's going from there. First, a few scatterings of ashes from the ashtray. Tom throws a tomato, which hits the wall; as he's cleaning, Jerry empties a fountain pen into the water bucket. He then aims it at Tom, but it's empty; Tom fires the pen at the curtains, but for him, it works. A lightning wash-and-iron session, and the drapes are fine again. Now, some acrobatics from Jerry: he juggles lots of eggs, then throws them; Tom catches and juggles them himself, but Jerry has also started spinning a pie plate on a fork. Tom manages to take that over, too, but then Jerry pulls the rug out (literally). Tom catches the eggs in a carton, but the pie hits him. An exhausted Tom falls asleep. Jerry inks the bottoms of his feet with a stamp pad, then gets Tom to chase him. Another whirlwind cleanup session, hastened by the approaching figure of a grocery-laden Mammy. But Jerry's got one more surprise for Tom: a load of coal is being delivered, and he moves the ramp to the living room, where the coal engulfs Mammy. Tom runs down the street as Mammy throws coal; he thinks he's safely out of range when he taunts her, but he's wrong once more.

During a blizzard, Jerry helps Tom out by getting him into a warm penthouse only to be betrayed by Tom.

In honor of the U.S. military during WWII, Tom and Jerry do battle in the basement, using household items as war weapons and vehicles.

Professor Jerry teaches a course in how to outwit cats, but his pupil seems to know more than Jerry.

Jerry's a wharf mouse; he sees a load of cheese being loaded onto a cargo ship and tries a variety of tricks to board, but Tom is on guard.

Jerry Mouse gets tired of living the country life and decides to head to the big city. However, the experience doesn't turn out quite like Jerry had expected.

When Tom is killed by his and Jerry's old rivalry, he has only one chance to find peace in Heaven - apologize to him.

Jerry runs into the Metropolitan Opera (preparing to perform Carmen), so Tom poses as a violinist, with help from a hidden tape recorder.

Tom pretends to have a cold in order to trick Mammy into letting him stay inside for the night. Jerry tricks Tom by making him think he really is sick - with the measles.

Tom's fraidy cat cousin comes for a visit and Jerry takes advantage of the cowardly feline.

Spike the bulldog, grateful to Jerry for getting him out of the dogcatcher's van, offers to help the little mouse any time he whistles. Tom, Jerry's feline tormentor, seeks to overcome this new disadvantage.

The kiddie radio host, Uncle Dudley, reminds his listeners that it is "Be Kind to Animals" week. Tom resolves to be kind to his mouse-nemesis, Jerry, but the cat changes his mind after sneaking a look at Jerry's diary.

Jerry and his friends flood the kitchen, then use the freezer to turn it into a skating rink. Even though Tom finds a pair of ice skates, the mice have no problem out maneuvering him.

Tom plays championship tennis against a cigar-smoking bully, but both cats find themselves battling Tom's much-abused lackey, Jerry Mouse, for the trophy.

George gives Joan a baby duck for her birthday. While they are out celebrating, Tom goes after the duck but his plans are thwarted when the duck (and, later, Jerry) finds a jar of vanishing cream and uses it to well, vanish, and get even with Tom (for a while, at least).

On a wharf, an opera singing Tom Cat and a feline rival compete for Jerry Mouse.

Tom invites Toots to an elegant dinner. However, he's made the mistake of trying to put Jerry to work, as a serving boy, a corkscrew, and other tasks. Jerry puts up with a little of this, but mostly gets revenge on Tom, mostly involving the tip of Tom's tail, which ends up in a sandwich, inside a dessert, and in a candle-holder. Meanwhile, Toots isn't too happy about Tom getting fresh with her. There's a chase, of course, featuring Tom stabbing a turkey while Jerry, safely outside, makes sounds of pain. Tom ends up with his tail stuck up like a mast as Jerry paints "S.S. Drip" on his side and Toots launches him into the punchbowl with a bottle of champagne.
