Great show, not many episodes but its well worth the watch, wish they would bring it back, its kind of like firefly, something that should have never been cancelled.

Hi Fin, I actually left a comment on this on the show’s link a while ago. I left a link debunking every thing about it.I;ll post the link here. Very good. And not fallacy. I believe the facts that can be seen and can’t get behind feelings or beliefs, especially if the person is not wholly honest from the gitgo…read some of the link.. it takes you to answers https://www.metabunk.org/debunked-why-in-the-world-are-they-spraying.t300/

finigan1 0 points 5 years ago*.

It has been happening all over the world for many years, china frequently uses silver iodide and other chemicals to get it to rain, weather control can not be debunked when they are doing it all over the world. They can control where things rain and leave other places in a drought kind of like california has been going through. It is not some fictional thing someone made up.There are many other things that prove it, look at david vs monsantos for instance, and how much control they have over everything, bio engineered crap that if is found in your crop from cross breeding, which is their fault, and they literally own your crop.

Good movie, great action. Seeing everything in first person may throw some off but I loved it. Completely different then the way most movies are shot and made. Unfortunately most people just see video games because of it. I really took this more as ‘hang on, we are going for a ride’.And it was a fun, and very literally in your face ride. 3.5/5 . I would have given it a 4.5 if it hadn’t messed with my vertigo and made me so dizzy.

The Orville (2017) S2 E7
finigan1 0 points 5 years ago*.

I like that they are talking about serious issues that have plagued our world for millennia. Pointing out the ignorance, bigotry and just plain hate for anything or anyone that doesn’t fit into their sickening and evil philosophies. Every episode this season has pointed fingers at cultures and religions that still think and do the same thing today to anyone different. This show is about more than just space exploration and comedy, its about the state of mind of our world and all the many fucked up people in it. The entire crew should shun and disown the son of a bitch for what he has done several times.

good show, if anyone wants to check out something similar to this try raising dion also from netflix, younger kid but the same sort of premise, and it has a good twist to it.

Captain Marvel (2019)
finigan1 -2 points 5 years ago*.

Surprisingly good copy for so early, there are some ads that are blurred out now and again and a few times it goes to what looks like picture in picture and blurs the entire screen for ten to fifteen seconds, and the dark scenes are just that dark and hard to see at times but there isn’t to many of them. Over all though it was very watchable and enjoyable, it also sets up avengers end game that comes out next month, the only thing this is missing is the easter eggs at the end of every marvel movie.Another fun and action packed addition to the marvel universe.

Dark Phoenix (2019)
finigan1 -1 points 4 years ago.

It wasn’t a bad movie, it’s just that they already did it.Something that seems to be a reoccurring thing with fox. Both their spideys were the same, starting back with uncle Ben and the spider bite, ya we know that.Another dumbass team of writers and producers that think they can do better then the first one, which was a epic fail! It wasn’t until disney got spidey until they broke out of that. They really don’t have any sense of continuity cause this is an entirely different universe from their first movies.Telling the same story’s over and over, just differently every time just doesn’t work.Fox and Warner Brothers should sell the rights to all live action DC and marvel to disney. I know what you are thinking, them owning everything is a monopoly, but at least they will make some great movies, certainly can’t say that about the guys who have them now.

3Below: Tales of Arcadia (2018)
finigan1 1 points 5 years ago.

Not as good as Trollhunters ,but it does add a lot to the story. Merging two stories together in the same timeline is not an easy thing to do.I thought they did it quite well though with explaining things that happen in both parts, certain scenes from both making more sense. And with great casts. I recommend Trollhunters and 3below to everyone. It is a fun watch for the whole family. The third part of the trilogy “Wizards” is scheduled to be out sometime in 2019.

The Black Cauldron (1985)
finigan1 1 points 5 years ago.

Thank you to the linkers who put up another link so fast, as always awesome sauce.I forgot this movie even existed till I saw it here, I remember seeing it when it came out, I was 12. It is a bit darker than most disney movies, especially for the time, that is likely why it was never very popular. I read the books every few years, the chronicles of prydain is a classic series, and this was a good movie considering the age of it and me now. And something else I found after watching it again that doesn’t seem to be a coincidence, Gollum and Gurgi sound very much alike with there being a 20 some year difference in movies.Like gollums voice was actually tooken from this movie, I don’t know, watch it and see what you think.

Batwoman (2019)
ShinmenTakezo 3 points 2 years ago.

It was pretty much the only way they were going to get a bat on the CW. The Big Guy is for the movies and sidekicks are for MAX.

finigan1 1 points 2 years ago*.

Batman never showed up in Titans, Bruce Wayne made many appearances though, and The Bat was in the CW, crisis on infinite earths. They got the real Batman to play him, Kevin Conroy. It was an Arrow, Flash, Legends Supergirl, and black lightening and batwoman crossover.

Captain Marvel (2019)

You can remain conscious for ten seconds after space decompression, you can exhale with more force than 14 psi. At extreme depths though, you wouldn’t even be in the same shape after a split second. If you want to really gross yourself out with education, you can find the videos on youtube. I think they even had a “Mythbusters” on it.

finigan1 1 points 5 years ago.

Space is absolute zero, you would be frozen solid in 2 seconds although the radiation would likely kill you first, you wouldn’t have time to exhale or do anything for that matter.

I read a book called sun signs that was based on astrology, and surprisingly it described people I know who were born under certain zodiacs quite accurately, myself most importantly ,the traits and demeanor’s is right on.This show is just bull but at the same time it is not complete crap. There is more then what meets the eye,if you read the book too and seen the parallels of what it says, and what is you and others, you would likely agree. What they call UNCANNY.

In a vacuum… Implode? O’kay I get it you’re an idiot.

finigan1 1 points 5 years ago.

Implosions are only possible under extreme pressure like under the ocean, where in space there is none what so ever, it is explosive decompression. Another thing most people get wrong with decompression is they think they are sucked out when they are actually blown out, space is a vacuum, and any leak can cause the air to escape at pressures that can rip things apart. It has happened with planes at high altitudes. They are both the same principal though, whether it be to much pressure outside and not enough inside, or to much pressure inside and not enough outside. Both are very bad and will give you the same results, cause whether you are crushed or blown apart you are still dead.

X-Men (1992)
finigan1 1 points 5 years ago.

Love this series, like the description says it follows the comics much more accurately then any other adaption I have seen.Even though its labeled as a ‘kids’ show, it is a must watch for any fan of the XMEN. And it explains more of the history about the shadow king and the morlocks that you may have seen in Legion and The Gifted. Not a spoiler just a heads up that the origins of those characters that are in popular shows now, that many don’t really know, are right here. You would have to find the right episodes for them, but it is worth watching from beginning to end.

The Cure (1995)

The Orville (2017) S2 E9
RoboPhone 2 points 5 years ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

Yes! We now see how crafty Seth MacFarlane is. He’s using a playbook straight from Joss Whedon plot lines: start with irreverent silliness to evoke compassion for the characters, then hit us in the gut with heavy life-threatening drama. Identity was the our belly-punch this season as Brannon Braga wrote part one and Seth wrote part two.

Braga started as an intern on Star Trek TNG and rose through “Federation”the ranks until Enterprise was cancelled. Since then he wrote and produced shows like 24 and Terra Nova. Now, he serves as executive producer, director and screenwriter on The Orville.

In Identity part one, Braga’s style immediately emerged with the musical overture that was hauntingly reminiscent of Star Trek’s battle rifts. With the ominous overtones rising, The episode began with The Orville descending on the home planet of the Kaylons. By the end, it became crystal clear that the Kaylons are this universes Borg.

In part two, written by MacFarlane, we see that Isaac comes to realize the value of humanity, much like Seven of Nine on Voyager, and suffers a similar fate. In another parallel, The Krill become frenemies with the Union, as did the Klingons with the Federation.

So now the chess pieces have been lain out and identified. And we have learned more about how the masters play their game. For the fans, there are exciting times ahead.

And as far as the haters and complainers are concerned, they need to just relax, sit back and enjoy the ride!

finigan1 1 points 5 years ago.

It is impossible to come up with something original with any genre, I think that is why they have tried to get more into prejudices and ignorances that are relative. Moklans like Bortus and Especially his husband/ wife are very? I don’t think there is a a word that describes being homophobic when it comes to a women. The Krill are so religious that they have no mind of their own and persecute or kill anyone not like them. The Kaylon think their selves above everything and everyone else because of their knowledge, and have a god complex really. The regorian are so superstisious and backward they are like salem witch hunters. The Xelayan’s have a 2 tear system of who is smart and who is not. The navarians and bruidians fighting over a little peace of land for generations when they have the same ancestors and both have a right to it. Many parallels to the real world that put across more of a message then just ‘Were In Outer Space’.

I love Felicia as much as the next guy but this movie can’t actually be good is it? Or is it worth a watch?

finigan1 1 points 5 years ago.

It is a decent watch, not great but not crap either, Felicia makes it worth the watch, she is lovely in a nerdy ,girl next door kinda way, and the guy who plays her husband was on eureka to, he was the bright eyed always smiling android deputy that fell in love with the sheriffs smart house. 3/5 some extra points for the sexy without trying Felicia.

Because its about the history of our evolution and based on facts that can not be argued ,from the many skeletal remains and other artifacts they have uncovered dating back 10’s of thousands of years. It is not a made up sci fi/fantasy.

Captain Marvel (2019)
Krl246 -1 points 5 years ago.

Explosive decompression in space is not even that bad(maybe, pop out an eye), but, when at extreme depths explosive decompression can turn you into ground beef(literally a messy pulpy lump of who the fu(k knows). There is only one atmosphere of difference from spacecraft to vacuum while depending on your depth the atmospheres inc exponentially under water.

finigan1 1 points 5 years ago.

Being blown through a tiny whole in the hull , or crushed like a meatball? I don’t like either of those options. I have seen what happens with planes when they lose compression from a hole and they still have gravity and some atmosphere outside, in space you could literally be pushed out a pin hole with the differences of pressure.

Young Justice (2010) S4 E2
finigan1 1 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Who needs supervillains when everyone is racist, this show has become about agenda not story. This is not the young justice I remember. It’s a shame, it “WAS” a great show! Now it’s just everyone hates each other, reflecting idiotic world views , when it should be about doing what superheroes do, fighting the big bads, saving worlds. Superheroes should not be fighting against peoples hang ups ,people have to work that out for themselves. If superman can’t bring people around then no one can, and he has been around for what, a century now?

Loki (2021)
finigan1 1 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I liked the first episode, but I don’t like the whole time thing. It is very out of order. Loki being a demi god meets a bunch of asses who think they are actually gods. Controlling every point in history, no free will. This is what is gonna happen. Don’t tell me what I can and cannot do. I hope Loki in his questionable wisdom takes down these time lords that think they are helping, when they are taking away every ones free choice. And what it means to have freedom. Burn it all down!

Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween (2018)
finigan1 1 points 5 years ago.

A fun movie for the whole family, I just don’t get why Jack Black is completely uncredited, there is no mention of him at all in the movie credits and imdb says the same thing, uncredited. I guess they wanted to see how well the movie would do without his name on it.

Injustice (2021)
finigan1 1 points 2 years ago.

Really good adaption, enjoyed it , but there is so much more to this story, it should be a trilogy as ROBINOO said. With all the not only hero’s but villains that eventually chose sides. It is well worth the watch none the less , but they had so much more to work with and so many different arcs that it feels like a trailer really. A really good trailer that just cuts to the chase and doesn’t give the original story the time needed. This is good, but the OG its based on was epic!

Evil (2019)
finigan1 1 points 2 years ago.

It was interesting the first 2 episodes of season 1. But then I watched s:1 e:3. The ending was so blatantly predictable and stupid that I am turned off. They could have done so many crazy things, but no. Many high recommendations here but I can’t give one. The writing lacks any originality, intrigue and imagination. I could have come up with so many cool ways to end that episode, and they chose the most obvious and ridiculously cliched way to do it. Acting is good, that is something, but the writers couldn’t come up with something unpredictable and imaginative if they were payed to. And they are. The irony.

What does a persons personal opinion about a topic have to do with whether a movie is good or not? Absolutely nothing! So are you all gonna stop watching jennifer lawrence movies and many other actresses/actors and stop listening to many musicians music because they made a sex tape? Or stop watching tom cruise and travolta movies because they are scientologist’s? Or movies shows and music because they are gay? Her personal beliefs have nothing to do with the movie, and anyone who would boycott anything all together just because they don’t agree with someone in it, is very petty and ignorant. All that matters is, is it good or not, all the rest of it is bullshit. Not liking someone for personal reasons is fine but that doesn’t have anything to do with someones creativity and performance which is why we watch and listen. There are many famous people I despise as a person, but they are still great at what they do, so I don’t care if they are assholes or not. Truthfully for one of them to actually start the heated battle I have seen here is hilarious and funny in a really hurting and childish way.

Crossovers? We don’t need no stinking crossovers! And so they made their own in a sense.Poking a lot of fun at themselves, and still keeping a seriousness about what is going on.
