I’m not sure if it’s because I’m from the southeastern mountains of the lower 48 or what, but I call bullshit on the majority of this show. For instance where they say; “Here in Alaska you can’t go into the city to a hardware store and get supplies, or what you need to make it out here” 1 minute later, “I went into the city and rented this bulldozer” or They put a road through “our” land and ruined our way of living” 2 minutes later; Were going to help people who might get stranded and die out here so we’re putting a small wooden shelter out here for them. If you took my shit here in the south and your ass comes onto my homestead, I’m not helping you do shit. If you die? Well you shouldn’t have been out here in the first place.
As far as the couple that claimed they barely made it out? They had an entire camera crew with cellphones with them the entire time, seriously?
I get that it’s entertainment but, when they put scripted shows out like this, it sends the wrong message to people that actually believe and think they can survive in the wilderness on their own. In reality, they wouldn’t last a day out here. Again, maybe it’s just me, who knows. Welp, time to get back at cooking the trout I caught earlier over the fire.

I live in that county in Tennessee. I have been in an abusive situation before myself and I know first hand how some of the women are in this area. I was in a relationship with a police officer and she would beat on me at leat 3 times a week. I couldn’t do anything about it because she knew I would go go to jail and she could control me and keep an eye on me more if I was locked up. Luckily we didn’t have any children together or I am not sure if I wouldn’t have done the same thing this gentleman did. I guess you just had to be there.

This dude is guilty as hell. Did he learn from his mistake? I think so. Will he ever kill anyone else again? Probably not. Did he commit murder? You damn straight he did. As a former addict myself, I don’t give af how bad I was withdrawing or how high I may have been, no way in HELL am I confessing to a murder I didn’t commit. This gentleman is of the .001% that actually get rehabilitated.

This happened not too far from my home. Very sad. At the end it said the killer “died” in prison in 2019 I assure you he did not just die, he was murdered by his cellmate. Karma’s a bitch aint it?

I live in close to this area. I know who killed her and the grandmother tried to cover it up because it was her son. I know that little bitch and he abuses women and is known for it but Greenville police are the worst kind corrupt and they will not reopen this case because once their minds are made up that’s it.

Remember kids if you are under 18 and commit murder on the res. you only get 2 years so have at it…… that is the message they’re sending.
