I loved this movie! What a beautiful story of love. What a true story of nobility, pompous, hatred and prejudice. Jeanne was an amazing woman and the King was the kindness she needed in the cruelty she lived in. All actors brilliant and the narrator has the voice of an angel . 10/10

That was their intention with West World. They used deceptive writing practices to keep you confused about what was happening. It was meant to make you think it was smartly written which it wasn’t. I am not saying it wasn’t a fun watch it was but don’t confuse a smart story with a misleading premise. ; )

I’ve never seen someone so unprepared, so unaware of their surroundings and so clumsy in all my life in a movie of this high caliber. Funny, too.
This was a wonderful movie that I would recommend to anyone that loves the great outdoors. Once you get away from the cities the US is a beautiful country.

Not sure but I’m pretty certain that one gray/stripey alien was Armin Shimerman—AKA the actor who played the ferengi, Quark from TNG et al. IMDB has done a lousy job of listing extras and guest stars lately.

This is a wonderful telling of a flawed but humane man. I can’t imagine how our country would be if he hadn’t brought his ideas forth. And the soothing voice of narrator Peter Coyote is always welcome. Ken Burns has done it again.
p.s. I just don’t hear Mandy Patinkin’s voice coming out of Franklin’s mouth. 😏
