Poor Jimmy lol and sorry Jamie but you deserved that!

Absolutely fantastic show! Many of the same names here like in Vikings. Very well done and very entertaining and as our YgraineDance once said, best to be gobbled up!
i LOVED the early seasons of this show, but after they wrote Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) out of the script the show just went downhill from there for me. Also i like fictional television shows to be entertaining not politically charged, but that seems to be the trend these days unfortunately. simply my opinions.
I’m so happy Shetland is back. It’s a rich, well-written, well-acted drama that has followed a cast of interesting and accessible characters for many years, via criminal cases and personal drama. Each season brings us back to what, by now, is a group of our “old friends” almost - and we can’t wait to see how they are at this point in their lives. The gorgeous locale is a star in its own right, just jaw-dropping green spaces beside immense deep-blue seas. Since the show has been on hiatus, I find that I have to re-learn the English-but-heavily-accented dialect all over again LOL but I don’t mind at all. This is an excellent show.
Unbelievable story of murder and deception that will keep you guessing until you are absolutely horrified at the end! Well done Dateline!!
I was bored and looking for something to watch and this popped up. I watched it and was rather surprised how entertaining it was. Sure they replay the event several times but other than that, some pretty amazing things were captured on video in each episode! I would say to give this a go~
Beautifully written and executed. I thoroughly enjoyed it! There is a sequel in the works as well.
denzel is like cheese he gets better and better over time (cept the equalizer he sucked at that ) wow what a great story line all that glitters is def not gold police work -very well written an great acting from the trios main stars -well worth watching again
I thoroughly enjoyed this well done doc about a wonderful human being who just so happened to have an epic voice of ROCK! He is missed.
I didn’t realize there was a remake either, unfortunately, it’s true that the originals are almost always better.. It was worth a one time watch, as mentioned there are some added bits.. but also a few let downs..
Yes in this case, the original was 100% best but I appreciated the effort. This is on my list of one time watches only. I really enjoyed Abigal and I see a bright future for her!
Just WOW. This is a real eye opener even more than Erin Brockovich was because all of us are affected by the chemicals from Dupont! This is not a restful film so don’t watch it if you are planning to go right to sleep afterwards. Too much on the brain to think about after this thought provoking movie based on the true story of one man who wouldn’t quit!
Just finished watching the first episode and I am saddened this is a true story. But it is very well done, fine acting etc. It is worth the watch but I have to say, it really gets you angry at the perpetrators and the culture that allows this horror.
Ok that ending was shocking! Hard to wait until Sunday to see if they made it! What an incredible show and cast!!
I just finished watching this and I must say, I am left wanting more! It cleverly got you completely into it without you realizing it until the great open ending and you are saying but I want more! Don’t end! LOL I think this would be a fantastic series! I sure hope they go that route~ Splendid!
You had a genuine experience connected to this event, only you can make the call as to whether watching this film will enhance or diminish that. Your comment got me thinking about other real life events that were turned into films and how they serve a purpose if any…
Oh yes there are quite a few excellent shows based upon true crimes. No doubt about that and I normally love to watch them all! But this, no way will I ever watch this nightmare. Thank you for your kind words~
This was rather dreary, gray and dark most of the time. Few likeable characters but overall the majority of the time, it was very depressing! I just felt disappointed. Good for a one time watch I suppose. There was some good costumes and scenery.
Rly good ep. Know who’s REALLY scared of ghosts?? MURDERERS… and CW has a lot to be scared of according to the chilling EVP on the police walk-thru on YT!
I just finished watching this and I am even more horrified by him than I was before. He is constantly being threatened by inmates and lives in fear for his life for the most part. As to the penpal, I sense she is a bit off.
Great movie. Awesome to see Patrick Swayze in top form. Passed in 2009. Jeff Healey..another sad loss 2008..and Canadian to boot, eh. And who doesn’t love you some Sam Elliott..the man doesn’t age. Great movie.
I actually like it. It has some good characters. So I’ll keep watching.
This was a very good episode as well! But to make us wait until February for more is just mean lol
This could never replace the film or even come close
I agree, I have not finished watching it yet but you are so right. However, I am enjoying Abigal’s performance! The guy who plays Johnny tho, ummm not feeling it lol
I refuse to watch this. My Mom and step Dad lived right near where this horror happened. Hurts my heart what she did to those precious babies. I don’t need any reminders of it.
I must say I was sure hoping it was Nikki who went through. Amber is not at all a team player nor a leader. Nikki was both in my humble opinion. Bummer
me too I saw them in concert during the Ou812 tour in 1988

This is where I saw them for the first and sadly the last time. It was freaking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmmm I don’t think her husband did it. Either she did or her Father is the way I am thinking now. Anyone else have an opinion?
This is one show that will haunt me the rest of my days. He is a monster. This show was very well done and created to bring focus and attention back to the beautiful Shanaan, Celeste, Bella and Nico and how precious they were. Not to just give the monster all the attention. He showed absolute guilt several times before he confessed in my opinion.
Really enjoying this! I feel the joy of her sweet and so talented self but also profound sadness and anger due to the tragedy that transpired. Heartbreaking but very well done. Adding to my binge watch favorites.
That was an awesome episode. Lots of action. No focusing on just one character. They all got some playtime.
I like Emmet for Lucy. He better not turn out to be a playa.
I like Emmett for Lucy too but you gotta know that the ONE for her is Tim Bradford!
Easily one of the ‘80s most underrated supernatural TV Series! It was a cult classic anthology masterpiece with an evolving story arc that was (and still is) epic!
5/5 Robo-Stars. Highly recommended!
I totally agree, Julianna, I was absolutely gripped by the story and I’m so glad it was paced over 90 minutes as it is such a mindblowing and tragic story.
Though I haven’t watched that many episodes of this show, this is without a doubt the best I’ve seen so far.
Living in England, this story completely passed me by, which made it all the more compelling viewing.
A must see for any true crime aficionado!
Well said good Sir! I could not have said it better myself. Completely and utterly shocking! To see someone so evil and devoid of a conscience was just very horrible to witness. I knew there were evil people in the world but this was one of those crimes that is way up there on leaving you guessing almost until the end. Talk about an unusual suspect……. And the way Dateline did this episode is right up there as one of my favorites. Another must see for you is Criminal Confessions, Season 3 Episode 1 about Chris Watts, monster of Colorado. Looking forward to more of your excellent reviews!!
Dramatic episode. Music fit the endings scenes as well as the last words said. Very good.
When she saw that piano and said she could play, I thought Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven would be so perfect and that is what she played. I actually teared up.
So happy I found this; it’s been GREAT-Sagal has done well in anything that I’ve seen her in. Now she’s got me missing SOA
Me too! I was so addicted to my SOA! But sadly this show has already been cancelled I found out last night. I was glad to find something of quality to watch but then they go and cancel it. Shaking my head~
Not saying she deserved to get murdered, but she seemed life a horrible wife.
I am not stunned often but reading what was posted above rendered me that way instantly. How could you? WTF is wrong with you to make you say such a terrible thing of this beautiful young mother who was so horrifically murdered by someone she loved and trusted along with her precious babies? She seemed a horrible wife? Seriously, WTF
