I read a lot of the books as well, too bad they did the movie like this, I had high hopes, and if they had done this better, they might have had something that could have been a cult classic they could have turned into something they could have worked with….
Sci Fi Pictures was not known for high quality back then and I agree it could been done better and with lots of source material, up to 143 now, a serial of some kind is easily imagined.
Shoot an animated version paired with the audiobook by Graphic Audio would be great.
