Absolutely awesome walk down memory lane and an interesting look behind the scenes of some of the (subjectively) best movies of all time in the genre. It is over 2hrs long but kept my attention the entire time. Definitely check this out if u grew up on action films!! will def watch again and pry show it to people ;)

Again, you’re both ignorant of the books from the 1990s, and the backstory. Yes, black people were in the Witcher novels - because all the humans you see, descended from the humans on our world - who had been transported to that world some 1500 years before the events of The Witcher.

Thanks for the great review..An American Werewolf in London terrified me as a kid, the living room scene has one of the most realistic “transformation” scenes ever made as far as i know…they showed the entire transformation in great detail..pretty sure it is even in some top ten lists for that kind of thing..i am always on the hunt for a GOOD Werewolf movie, and i have heard of this movie before,just never got around to watching it..think i will be putting this on my “To Watch” list for this weekend..Cheers mate.

Yes, I saw AWIL, that’S why I mentioned it - it was the genesis of the horror comedy, and to date, still the greatest werewolf film - this Dog Soldiers is one of the few that came close.

they did, but you have to be a youtube premium member(formerly Youtube Red) to be able to binge watch it. If your not a member all their original programs are free to stream by being ad supported. In the case of this show I read today that they will release one episode per week with ads for everyone who is not a member. the good news is I joined up for a free trial today for $11.99 but it dosn’t bill till November 16 and i was able to cancel right away. So I can watch all of season two of Impulse commercial free along with any of youtubes other originals like Origin or Cobra Kai. Their are some other perks too, like downloading youtube videos and streaming music, I think you get a trial of google music to try also. All in all it was a great deal as long as you remember to cancel, and like I said the link to do just that is right at the bottom of your sign-up confirmation page.

this is really difficult to get through, literally not even one character is likable. nothing they do makes sense. the editing is rough. the location is the only thing this has going for it. even the acting is rough. probably one of the worst shows ive seen in a while. i will try to suffer through these last 2 episodes just so i know the ending. i would skip this my friends.

I read that they cancelled because they were supposed to get a big tax break in the state they were filming in, think it was N.C., but it did not go through as planned, and without it, they were going to take a bath,so they cancelled. Damn shame,they were off to a good start with this if the first 2 episodes are any indication.

Ja, been reading up on what happened. Warner Bros. was apparently promised 40 Million to film there, and then it was claimed the 40 was a clerical error, it was only supposed to be 14 million. So, in a huff and a puff, Warner pulled the plug on it’s own rare high quality production.

It was decent, but fairly predictable - a lot of obvious bits taken from Tom Hank’s “Big”, including an iconic scene thereof as hommage. Sadly, like all DCEU offerings, the villain was terrible. Not as bad as BvS’s Doomsday and Luther, and a step ahead of Justice League’s Steppenwolf, but.. yeah.

Tuition is not free. I don’t know where you get that bs. It maybe officially “Free” but as I said previously, there are costs ASSOCIATED with it that absolutely don’t make it free. Studying in Germany is something a lot of people want, but very few are able to afford (even for EU citizens).
And finally, yes she pretty much forced the country to accept refugees. Not for any other reason than we need to set an example to the EU, even though the German citizens are in general not at all happy at this development. No one’s talking about the overall crime rate in the country. I’m talking about the refugee crime rate, which has skyrocketed. And yes, there are plenty of programs that are associated with providing job specifically to refugees but are ESPECIALLY LAX when it comes to qualifications. No one forces the employers to accept anything. They are being paid with funds from the country for a hiring quota.
I could go on and on about these subjects but I just don’t have the time. If you’re living in Germany then it’s one hell of a nice dream. Because on my side of the fence, things aren’t all sunshine and rainbows.

That’s my OWN surgery. I’m insured with the AOK. This was pre post grad studies, 2nd year in university. Not through an employer or the like. Something tells me you have not studied at the Uni level though. You’d know why we laugh at such concepts like “student debt” - the only thing I had to pay for, were some books. That’s it. And this is while studying sports medicine and kinesiology. I’m speaking from first hand experience, you’re speaking from what you’ve heard. Vast differences. If you really are a German citizen, you’d know that you don’t pay for tuition at any level. If you’re just some expat living here? Then there’s you’re problem, you’re not German.

Example, look at Germany. The government is conservative for over 13 years - yet no one attacks universal healthcare, tuition became free at all levels, and over a million refugees were accepted. I enjoyed it for what it was - A black-comedy with action and bloody death. It’s a satirical lampooning of both ends of the political spectrum; a mishmash of stereotypical characters and a script designed to perpetuate their worst stereotypical traits, whilst infuriating those it’s poking fun at for all the wrong reasons.
Some of it is so OTT I genuinely laughed out loud. If you don’t take it too seriously you’ll probably really enjoy it.
