Wait — wasn’t a world without technology the theme of Dark Angel many years ago? I would almost be happy if the internet went down. It’s so addictive and such a time suck. Just in case, I’ve been hoarding ebooks, real books, and magazines for entertainment when this inevitably happens.

Thanks! Cetacea order are all whales, but it’s (the dolphin eg Orca) not considered a whale proper (like a blue whale, or a sperm whale…) they differ slightly. So Marine Biologists generally keep the distinction, since the Orca is mistakenly called the Killer Whale (a derivation of Whale Killer, which is more accurate, though perpetuates a negative space of thought for many humans about them). He should have reiterated the differences and that they are part of the order.

Only ONE issue. Orcas are NOT whales. They are dolphins. Otherwise. stellar and inspiring.

shows like this and Movin’ On, movies like Smoky and the Bandit made trucking look so glamorous, people were lining up to mortgage everything they owned to buy a rig, then the truth hit, and they found out it wasn’t “like it was” in the movies

Indeed, so many forget, without truckers, AMERICAN STOPS!! CB’s still RULE! They always got a signal!

This show was filmed back in the days when truckers were respected and held in high esteem. For awhile, everybody had to have a CB radio so they could talk to the truckers. It was so much fun! My BF had a van, and we both had CB handles. Trucking is a hard, hard job, and I still respect truckers. Without them, we would not have all the wonderful things we have in all our stores. All Hail Truckers!!

This is an amazing film, and for all of you who stopped watching before the very end, go back and watch it. It’s the perfect ending.
I have a feeling this is coming back, just like Frazier. Of course, it won’t have the same cast of characters, but I’m sure they’ll all be great. I’m praying hard I’m right.

I’m related, mostly by marriage, to some of these people. I’ve never watched this show, never will, but I can attest that your good name is everything when it comes to Charleston society. The rich in Charleston are just different than anywhere else, and sometimes not in a good way.

I don’t want to have to wait until next year to see the rest of the episodes, but I guess it’s better than having to wait a year or more like some shows have done. I think I liked TV better when there were 3 channels and shows came on once and then as reruns, so you could watch another show on another channel during the rerun episodes. So much simpler. Now there is absolutely too much choice.

The premise of Killing Castro will follow a rookie undercover FBI agent, as he’s sent to supervise Fidel Castro during a New York City trip where he’s supposed to give a speech at the United Nations. But when Malcolm X invites him to stay at the Hotel Theresa in Harlem after a rough reception in his original hotel, the young agent will be tasked with keeping his target safe from the CIA and the Italian mafia. Nothing could’ve prepared the agent for a mission of this magnitude, with the fate of two countries in the balance. The project will follow the steps necessary to keep both men safe during their first meeting

I know this is crazy, but I’m jonesing for this episode to air, and since I don’t own a TV, I have to wait until it airs on here. I don’t even like reality TV, but I started watching this during COVID and got crazily invested in it. Oh well, I guess I’ll wait until tomorrow to see how this whacked out family ends the season.

I don’t watch any of the Godzilla or King Kong movies anymore, because I’m old enough to have seen the originals in the theater, complete with dubbed in English-over-Japanese script lines. Well, didn’t see the original until I was old enough to go to the movies alone, because it came out when I was two young to see it. They re-showed it in theaters ahead of “King Kong vs. Godzilla.” I stopped watching after 1975, when there was a long break in the movies and I didn’t like the new ones much.

Just finished watching this series. I truly deserves a season 2. The ending says a lot, but we need to know what happens now.

Have never watched this before, but omg — DEMELZA!!! I promised myself after Poldark ended so suddenly that I would read all the books, but never did. Now I want to do that.

As for this show, I like it a lot so far. Will keep watching, since it seems to be a popular show.

WHY WHY WHY do they always have such cliffhangers at the end of each episode?? I wish some streaming service would pick this up and let us binge watch every season, because it’s torture to wait a week between episodes!

This show can be so confusing sometime. Many’s the time I’ve had to go look back at the previous episode just to recall what they’re talking about. I have no idea why I’m so totally addicted to it.
