Well, I’m not overly impressed with the pilot, unfortunately, and was really looking forward to it. Will continue, but all this does, is make me want to get back into the book.

I was still in grade school when this movie was released. I’ve never watched it and had forgotten about this movie until I saw your comment. This movie will be going on my “to watch” list. Thank you for mentioning it and have a good weekend.

Oh yes! Yes Yes! I started watching the opening, not having heard at all about this new show. I could see Taylor Sheridan all over it, wondered if it was in the Yellowstone universe but looked up the showrunner/writer Chad Feehan Yes, produced by Sheridan but Feehan who did Ray Donovan and Banshee, was encouraged to do this by Sheridan. if you do a search thewrap, has a good article on it. It’s going to be great I’m sure. @StarWisper 6666 has been put on hold. Sheridan wants to spend more time there, to get the story right.

Real Time with Bill Maher (2003) S17 E11
Canuckian 2 points 5 years ago.

sorry but this comment caught my eye..better character? really? Yes, there are more male serial killers that have been documented but it is theorized there are actually a LOT more female serial killers that are UNdocumented because people generally don’t attribute these kinds of crimes to women…also, for those women serial killers that are known, their crimes are MUCH more heinous…most of them killed people they knew, or they killed others close to them including their own children..male serial killers tend to stalk and murder total strangers…anyways, i could keep going on, but i think you get my point. Before you go putting all men in the same apple Basket like you seem to be doing here, and making comments like “better character” because there aren’t as many female SK then there are male, think about the fact that females crimes are much more heinous and personal in nature…as a woman, i am sure you have heard the phrase “Hell hath no Fury…”? That saying is there for a reason. All men aren’t the same, so it is unfair to judge us based on the actions of a small percentage…i HATE being judged for others misdeeds and i also don’t appreciate someone insinuating that men possess a lesser “character” because of the ridiculous reason you are using here. Just sayin’. Would you want to be thought of as a money grubbing gold digging shallow, stupid woman because there are so many of those TYPES of women out there? Who believe that having Beauty means never having to work and that you are better than everyone else? I don’t think you would..just like Men don’t like to be generalized either due to the actions of a few idiots like Biden. Biden is creepy AF and has no place running for POTUS, and i find it incredibly hypocritical of the Dems to allow him to represent them considering the accusations against him and how lightly he seems to be taking them (probably because he knows he can get away with it in his circle). These are the same people that tried to destroy Kavanaugh for something they alleged happened DECADES earlier! Now, i don’t know the truth, but i DO know that some of these accusers (don’t know if Ford was one of them) admitted that their claims were false, that they had never met the man and that they were “LED” by someone from the Dems!! I mean, crazy, right!? And now these same people are going to allow Biden to run for POTUS and be the possible official candidate for the Dems! Hypocrites, all of them! Anyways, my rant is over. Don’t judge all men based on the actions of a few, that is both unfair and immoral…I am sure you wouldn’t appreciate that yourself…unfortunately it seems to be ok to bash men nowadays due to our “toxic Masculinity” whatever the fuck THAT is supposed to mean… Don’t expect a MAN to apologize for BEING a MAN who enjoys getting his hands dirty or some other generally MALE thing to do like fix cars…

NoelCoyotebleu 2 points 3 years ago.

First You said: All men aren’t the same, so it is unfair to judge us based on the actions of a small percentage. THEN you said: Hypocrites, all of them! I am laughing my ass off!

On ep. 1 and so far it is pretty good.
The time jumps are a bit annoying, since only the 1st is labeled, but I’ll survive.
Everybody wants to put their 2 cents in (speaking of the producers) and I don’t mind that…….as long as it is entertaining.

NoelCoyotebleu 2 points 3 years ago.

I don’t like the time jumps either. Don’t know if they are worse if one never read the book, but I’d bet there is confusion lol.

Jesus said “they will hate you because they first hated me”. And this is so true. The Cahtholic religion has caused a lot of problems in the name of God. I’m a born again Christian. I don’t believe in religion. As you can see by every single Christian show on here, the haters are real. It doesn’t surprise me in the least. It used to make me very upset but I remember what Christ Himself said and I just feel really bad for those who feel they have to attack those who believe differently than they do. Fairytales? Hmmmmmm. I beg to differ. And in this world we live in, people would be smart if they turned to the God they think is so horrible instead of turning against Him. Do your research. Read the Bible. But honestly you don’t even have to do that. If you have questions, google them. And honestly, if there is a show on something I don’t believe in, I don’t watch it. And I especially don’t watch it and then bash all the people who you do not know, and put hurtful and hateful comments on. But again, for so many reasons, I’m not surprised by the Christian bashing. It actually proves my point. Oh and in the end we will ALL find who is right and who is wrong. I’m happy to be on the right side. God Bless you.

NoelCoyotebleu 2 points 3 years ago.

Therein lies the rub, being on the ‘right’ side. My post that said live and let live, to the person who what spouting intolerance got removed, lol. I did some research on this movie, for a documentary, and claiming they have new ‘evidence’, which I was interested in seeing, they had none. Throughout the longgggg video, they just said they have evidence. They didn’t even cite specific passages in the Bible.

The Little Things (2021)
TX2Guns 2 points 3 years ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

This is one of those crime movies that you may be keen to write off early simply because of the lackluster beginning. I urge you to keep with it and pay attention. Denzel’s movies almost always have a theme and this one really drives it home in the end. Mistakes. We are all fallible and we all make them, sometimes even with the most honorable of intentions. How we live with them and navigate (or manipulate) the consequences is the meat of the story here. It reminded me a lot of The Pledge with Nicholson. Malik and Leto did a good job but Denzel was GOLD. He is getting to that point in his acting career where his body language and expressions are now intrinsically part and parcel of EVERY character he plays, kind of like Wayne, Newman or Bogart. Amazing. 5/5

NoelCoyotebleu 2 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I completely agree! this wasn’t some simple scary serial killer slash er up.. This was MAGIC, Complex, methodical, and heartbreaking, in places. (the scene with his ex) I was enthralled, by every single actor in this, even the minor ones. There wasn’t a final climax, but a series of them, throughout the movie… There was an end, but was it really the guy? and what about those boots!? I have questions! lol So well done. The sound track/music was spot on, and lent such an eerie tone, like the show The Outsider.

The Little Things (2021)

denzel is like cheese he gets better and better over time (cept the equalizer he sucked at that ) wow what a great story line all that glitters is def not gold police work -very well written an great acting from the trios main stars -well worth watching again

Good pick, Flick!
This miniseries is based on the 1981 novel of the same name by Paul Theroux, which was made into the 1986 film starring Harrison Ford and directed by Peter Weir.

“Unlike Weir’s relatively faithful depiction, the novel is a jumping-off point for this new Apple TV+ miniseries that deviates heavily from Theroux’s story while still addressing consumerism, American exceptionalism, and the price of blind confidence.”
I too, am anxiously awaiting for the April 30th premiere date for this new journey to begin.

I live in Russia and Putin regularly answers questions in an open public forum. He will sometimes stand for hours responding to the questions of regular citizens with no limit on subject. What is profound in this is he answers without canned responses and is a master of facts and statistics. It’s quite refreshing to watch after spending a lifetime watching western pols answer questions with non answers while grabbing for sound bytes.

NoelCoyotebleu 1 points 3 years ago.

The Putin Interviews (2017)
Dante89 0 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Definitely worth a watch. Before going into this documentary I heard a lot of people complained because Oliver Stone was ‘’Too nice’’. Which I don’t get. He seems to be polite enough to wanting to have a dialogue with President Putin. And he seems to have a great way of asking his questions. Even though the answers are yeah, expected. But then again I think it is really something that we haven’t seen before even though these interviews are what to expect from a politician. Nevertheless very interesting and exciting for anyone who is a fan of politics, history and other cultures.

An extremely minor amendment to an existing statute that some people think was an effort by Kennedy to transfer power from the Federal Reserve to the U.S. Department of the Treasury by replacing Federal Reserve Notes with Silver Certificates.

So then the Federal Reserve killed him … because Deep State or something.

It’s really only supported by Jim Marrs, the Christian Common-Law Institute, and the commenter above you.

There are dozens of JFK assassination conspiracy theories.

And many of them make sense and might be true.

Executive Order 11110 is not one of those.

Yellowstone (2018) S4 E1
Lily23 5 points 2 years ago.

I started watching this after season 2 came out. Told my stepdad about it. He watched, fell in love with it & made his kids (all adults) watch it. This has culminated in a family viewing party happening for the season opener. An all day event where they will watch the final 2 episodes from last season before the new ones air (I get to watch at home alone as I fell ill this week shrug no one to get mad when I inevitably yell at the screen or laugh at the absurd, over-the-top violence). It’s a fun show. A bit soap-opera in the storylines but still fun. I look forward to the epic-ness I’m sure is to come.

NoelCoyotebleu 1 points 2 years ago.
